Yeah, it'll work with the 40GB but to have to players, you need to buy a USB hub as the 40GB only has 2 USB ports, as for the 60GB, it has 4 USB ports.

Just an update to everyone anyway, I got it all working. The problem was....I was to close.

If you've got this & you've set it up correctly & it's not working, try going rightttt back, well far away from your TV, & then see if it works.

Remember, if the red light is on, on the gun, your not in the sencor range or too close.

on the sensors theres a flap. open it to a 90 degree angle than put it on ur tv yes it will work on flat screens..

if the TV is 40" or bigger why is it a problem. you dont need to put them on the corners. putting them colser to each other will allow you to play closer to the tv and vice versa.
