  • No Should Get this big

  • This should be close to a contest because he is working with light weights..

  • He is wearing bagy jeans as skinny ;)

  • It works better if you go all the way up on leg extensions

  • @trevor61396 it works better for u

  • I don't get this hole I took an arrow to the knee some one please explain

  • @fumanchukk it's a video game meme from Skyrim

  • @fumanchukk its a skyrim reference

  • Upper body just dominates the lower.. Johnnie was never known for his legs.. He is getting them up to par though..

  • theres something trying to escape out of his shoulderrrr

  • @62890ballplaya

    It's his shoulder-training-helper-Mexican!

  • I used this idea into my leg workout and it's killer.Ive been having back problems with fatigue at my age from using heavy heavy weight from squats.Bye pre-exhausting your legs with extentions helps me so i don't need to go so heavy and still get nice results. Thanks Johnny!

  • What kind of monkey is operating the camera? We dont need to see a close up of his shoulders on the leg press, why dont you actually show us his feet positioning and his motion throughout the workout

  • I don't understand why Johny is not MR O yet.

  • Johnny, listen, i know you a body builder and all...but thats enough man, your good! honestly, what are you going to do with all that muscle? Become a human tow truck? A human pillar? A human Wrecking ball?

Here is you next challenge sir...FLEXIBILITY. I bet you can't touch your toes!

  • Enspiring workout beast

  • those calves look shitty compared to the rest of his body

  • 3:09 the stare of champions

  • What a beast, just staring at the freaking wall doing squats. No fancy music, or mirrors or anything.

  • full sqaut=hamstrings to calves

    sqauts are the shit!!

  • @crotchrockett004 depends on body mechanics.... for tall guys that wouldn't work

  • im eating ice cream while watching this haha

  • he has a sick deadlift work-out !

  • jo jo jackson haha

    ya this guy is beast

  • Haha this dudes legs are huge!

  • @BigBrousky well if you compare him to jay cutler or branch warren, they really aren't :) but he's still a good bodybuilder

  • lol

  • How many sets and reps do these pro bodybuilders do, Cuz I know for damn sure they can't be doing 3 sets of 8-12 reps (like everyone says its good enough) for each muscle and call it quits... Any tips?

  • @Halobolu ...you're right. I have seen guys at my gym take a whole hour to train just their chest. Others are thru when these guys are just getting started. I read in Muscle Mag International that Ronnie Coleman does up to 20 sets!

I'm not a pro, but I love to workout, and have been doing so for years. When I first started, it took maybe 3-4 sets to get a good workout. Now I try to do at least 5 sets, if I'm lifting at 80% of my max. It's all trial & error tho. Get to know your body...

  • looks like someone cant wear skinny jeans

  • @liveitrough29 he makes jeans skinny. lol

  • @liveitrough29 skinny jeans are for fags

  • @liveitrough29 He can he just hast o buy the loose fit skinny jeans.

  • @liveitrough29 he could if he took an arrow to the knee. otherwise his legs are massive

  • @liveitrough29 skinny jeans are for pussys :p

  • Love the "Heart beat" effect in his shoulder hah.

  • Lets get fuckin JACKED

  • Yoooo... he starts off with leg extensions!??!?!?! 4 sets of 50 reps LMAO that ridiculous. I wouldn't be able to walk after that let alone keep working out and squatting and all.. WOW

  • DAMN.. he starts with leg extensions?!??!??!!??! thats beast imo.

  • hes not even squating that much, struggling with 315? haha

  • @skylerj84 ...it's not always about how much weight it on the bar. Putting on muscle is a science to those guys. Jonnie doesn't need to go heavy all the time. He was originally a powerlifter, so I know he's got the ability to lift massive amounts of weight.

  • @skylerj84 you couldnt squat that much after all those extentions either...

  • beast

  • awsome

  • Those are great atheletes.

  • Needs more calf size. Not saying mine are bigger or better, but for his body and profession they are a weak point and not in proportion.

  • Jonny could compete w/the top 3 if he would pay more attention to his legs! Such untapped potential is disapointing.

  • 140 kilo i squat??? bøsserøv!....

  • why do no vids show a pro bodybuilder doung some serious squats(that was warm up 3 plates jeeez) it all leg press and extensions

  • great workout by one of the coolest bodybuilders .. love this heavy training!

  • holy crap look at all those vessels popping in his legs, i didnt even know there was that many..... y is his delt pounding?

  • Is it 140 KG squat a lot?

  • Wonder how many bullets you need to stop this man.

  • now look, he really is resting the bar on his TRAPS for squats lol

  • holy crap, this guys a monster!! haha damn

  • damn!! watch how his front delt even comes into play while doing leg presses, crazy ass shit.

  • only if the US army had soldiers as strong as this

  • Thats the real deal bro thanks !!!

  • im sure this isnt his whole leg workout! .. all workouts are great except for the first one he did he was doing it like an ametuer .. i think he doesnt want other bodybuilders to know the secret of that workout

  • I hate squats!

  • yo whats that first exercise he did called? anyone??

  • looks bit like me

  • that workout is MASSIVE. subscribed.

  • This guy is like a T-90 tank

  • I hate training legs :X

Sometimes i skip the legs training >.>

  • haha, my leg presses consists of about 14 45's on each side...

  • his legs are like horse legs. jesus christ.

  • this dude is a straight beast. he's becoming one of my favorite builders!

  • Dayum!!! Wish I had legs like that!!!!!!

  • look at front delt popping when he does legpresses, insane...

  • I can't help to wonder why the hell he did leg extension before squats.. But hell, I'm not gonna criticize (spell?) a man of his size ;)

  • Johnnie's quads strength is straight overwhelming, if he performs at 2011's mr. Olympiathis way he'll come out strong and automatically hit 1st place, no doubt... nigga squatting 3 45s on each side like it aint nothing.. His leg press is weak compard to my max I can at least max out 2,00 Ibs. with no problem.........

  • beast

  • Cool

  • Respect for this hard work Man,but believe me i dont want to have body like this...

  • He look like a turtle with his traps and back... pfff awesome!!

  • if "looking good" means wearing a speedo and doing leg extensions, Give me a squat rack and a bag to put over my head.

  • I think he more into power lifting than bodybuilding, that's why he always places last at the olympia shows

  • couldn't he at least PRETEND like all that weight was hard to do?

  • rofl, he has to go get other weights and put them on ghetto style..dam he's strong

  • If he wanted he could prolly be badass fullback in nfl.

  • is this right before a contest? anyone? it seems like he isn't using really heavy weights on squats and leg presses, on extensions he uses the whole stack and then some, i'm wondering if he was in the cutting phase and didn't have the strength on the compound movements that he usually does, like in the magazines and he's benching with 4 of 5 plates on each side, granted, the magazines are known for using fake plates and making the bodybuilders make ridiculous faces...

  • This guy Johnnie is the strongest bodybuilder, here's proof.

  • damn hes a beast

  • 1.good shit weight on fast

  • WTF he was somewhat huge legs and only squat 3plates?

  • Johnnie Jackson! is honest guy, pull for him...

  • Johnnie Jackson! IS TRUE! HARDCORE BODYBUILDER of all local b. faggots. let see all ;) hate me if you want.

  • im in the best shape of my life by following JJ. His workouts are more of a power lifting mentallity more than bodybuilding.

  • Hey i know that gym that's strouds!

  • im glad i dont go to the same gym as this guy

  • christ. the whole weight set is not even enough for his warmup.

  • And how strong his leg was......O.O"!

  • How heavy he could handle? 300 pounds? Lol.

  • I wonder how high these guys can jump and how fast they can run...

  • Ill have to give the pre-exhaustion method a go, anyone here tried it? its meant to improve gains significantly.

  • I've some of these cats workout, in person, even though Im much taller than they are, it's almost orgasmic/demonic to watch them

  • does he have hops?

  • the one thing i hate about bodybuilding workouts is that they never go the full range of motion, they can only partial. but hey, whatever works 4 them

  • check out stan efferding!!!

  • Training in air jordans!!! A nice touch to set of an awesome routine. Forget bodybuilders thst dont belive in squats!!!! This man is the real deal. Johnny Jackson for president!!!

  • Ronnie Coleman is stronger than jackson

  • y does he have is arms held out like that when he is doing the free weight squats?

  • why is he performing so many partial lifts?

  • weak squat:(

    and not deep enough

  • how can he squat without a mirror !

    damn I hate that !

  • proper strongman/bodybuilder

  • Does any one know what kind of GEAR these guys are on i.e stacks and cycle lengths?

  • good music, many weights, blood and sweat :-D this must be paradise!

  • I have became a huge fan of this man over some time, love the powerlifting-bodybuilding mentality. Intense strength!

  • @xmarkin wicked wicked wicked

  • man I hate that legpress-exers.

I need so much mental strengh for that

  • I totaly know what you mean. I switched it up to super deep squats like you saw Platz doing back in the day, and I got a huge response out of my legs and the weight was way way less which was nice. And it isnt hard on your knees if you just go down at a reasonable speed and dont bounce at the bottom. Try it out it might really help, cus I used to hate doing that super heavy weight too. You just feel like youre getting crushed, it sucks.

  • bro i love leg press... squats are the thing i need mental strength for

  • @DZihad25 .

LOL No kidding, Heavy Squats will test your mental and physical strength and toughness

  • Strongest bodybuilder in the world? No offense to Johnnie but 315 for 8 on squats is lightweight. For somebody who is enhanced the weights he's using are very underwhelming imo.

  • that was a sick vid, it actually seemed like his real workout. really dope.

  • atheletes??

  • that guy is tiny compared to dennis wolf or coleman

  • I have that same problem with the quad machine but I have to throw a couple 45s on either side of the tricep bar and then I have the manager come over and sit on them.

  • 8 reps of squats at 3 plates? shouldn't that be way to easy for this guy? It's sort of misleading if this video only shows the various warm up sets.

  • this guy's leg workout is about 12 times more intense than mine

  • that guys an animal...he can probably throw me through 5 concrete walls with one hand

  • Song plx

  • 30 to 50 reps. Thats insane!

  • this guy is really strong he'd be more sucessful in srength competitions

  • nice arm

  • When you work out your legs (because they are your biggest muscle) it sends a signal to your brain and produces more testosterone which helps you gain muscle everywhere

  • fuk,, johnnie's a beast where can i get dat muscle shirt at dat says muscle tech shits hard to find

  • dude is huge

  • I can squat way more than JOJ. He didn't even load the leg press up that much. It don't impress a me much lalalalala U know the song? Thats me singing.

  • SHUTUP AND SQUAT!

  • bigger calves would be nice

  • i wanna make my quads bigger, but i don't know how to do a proper workout routine for my quads. does any one know??

  • are you suppossed to work just one muscle group a day? because i work every muscle in my body from calfs up to my traps for about an hour everyday. am i supposed to just do a little of everything and add special attention to one muscle group each day?

  • lol at the beginning when he needed more weight on the leg extension machine. it reminds me of Arnie when he does calf raises. he has to have a person stand on top of the weight stack.

  • This was just his quad workout. Some fkn heavy ass leg ext at the beginning damn

  • @WesMantO0th don't leg extensions kill the tendons around your knee?

  • No Strouds Fitness in Hurst Tx where Johnnie and I both train.

  • @Senseial Hell yeah. I love Texans!!!!! Got good mates out there. Go TX!!!!

  • @Senseial does he really workout there? i drive by that place everyday. haha crazy.

  • Real bodybuilder.

  • Johnnie Jackson is awesome. Any bodybuilders who incorporates the real exercises into their workouts are cool by me.

  • @Portilloizay so that would be all pro bodybuilders then? what is a fake exercise lol?

  • @Portilloizay what real bodybuilder doesnt include the real exercises....i'm assuming by real exercises you mean the squat, deatlift etc

  • is that MUSCLE SYSTEM GYM?

  • I'm guessing that's probably Strouds Fitness in Hurst, Tx. his home gym.

  • Johnnie Jackson and Ronnie Coleman is the strongest bodybuilders!

  • dude look up stan efferding he would own both of them

  • no absolutely not! The german guy markus rühl has many more records in strengh!!!

  • @DJBouncey some of them but not the strongest

  • his upperbody really overshadows his lowerbody

  • wtf @ shoulder ahah

  • Go hard or go home. Posers

  • A foundation of strength with shape - key to all great bodybuilders - Arnold, Franco, Ronnie, Johnnie, Dorian, Lee, etc.

  • truth.

  • i do both and i have to say bodybuilding hurts the most but its the most rewarding to get a pump is the greatest feeling you can get basically.

  • johnnie man ur 2 big dude. lol ur chest litterally looks like u have giant donut holes

  • is not the amount of weights is the quality of the exersice

  • I like JJ he is awesome and does not come off like a goon.

  • why are his arms so far out at 2:00

  • it's just his style man

  • he says its the most comfort feel for him on the squat i can relate i take a fairly close stance with wide grip

  • omg its an alien in his shoulder trying to burst out

  • @Dudelookslikeeylady hahahahhaa that's hilarious!

  • His upper body doesnt match his lower body.

  • he looks alot more athletic than the 300 pound guys. hes a monster.

  • The reason he didn't use a lot is because he's trying to get the best pump by focusing all the lifting movement on his quads/hams. Most people squat with way too much weight and that's why they don't get the leg results they want. They don't focus it and the weight isn't balanced all on the quads/hams.

  • Johnnie is da meng... = ]

  • is he really the strongest bodybuilder ~?

  • Yup. He truly is.

  • If not the strongest there's only a few stronger then him. I think he is the only top pro that is also a powerlifter.

  • He may be the strongest (pound for pound) bodybuilder, but Ronnie Coleman is far stronger than any bodybuilder I'v ever heard of and he's stronger than Johnnie, but Coleman is also 50+ lbs heavier....

  • lol no way man Ronnie is...well in his prime he was.

  • no but bodybuilding really isnt about strength...power lifting is more about numbers and how much you lift

  • he's doing high bar squat, and raw, it's the hardest squat ever that why he only lift 300.

  • his a beast..

  • Way to go Man

  • freaking beast.... i never do extensions first before doing squat probably because my legs would be shot... it funny how he just adds weight to the machine like its no big deal

  • i could squat 360lbs with a body weight of 155lbs when i was 19! now im 21 and since then i weight 172lbs and i can only squat 275lbs...still my legs are 3 inches bigger. HOW COME? 20 rep squats...for majority of people legs wont grow huge with big weights.

  • u stopped lifting

weight and size and age doe not determine strength

  • size comes from strength so don't say they dont worry about weight
