I think they picked a great actors for Katniss and Peeta. But Gale is suppose to be attractive and Liam isn't. I dont think that Rue and Cinna were black in the book so that was horrible casting. Everyone else is okay! I hope the movie turns out good or Imma be pissed off!

@capkat21 They were. I'm not sure about Cinna, but Rue was black ( Clearly stated ) and so was Thresh ( Both were selected as tributes from District 11, which leads me to believe that most of District 11 is black. They does mostly farming and whatnot. )

It's more important to find an actor that can really play the role well rather than being identical to the discription in the book. The actors are for the most part older than their character (which I really don't think should matter), but the characters in The Hunger Games live in a very different world than the one we know. Katniss should seem mature for her age, and I believe Jennifer Lawrence was an excellent choice and has the acting chops to pull it off.
