So baisically, what this ads saying is, if a woman weears a mini skirt, then serves her right? WRONG. Why should they have to dress differently? they should be able to dress how they want without getting raped. this advert is disgusting
@jdubb11112 Correct I am a lawyer and once you shout "surprise" prior to the the act by law its considered surprise sex there is a big difference..............
Its clearly not labeling ALL men as sexual predators. Different story of course would be if ALL the men turned round and agreed. Also it really doesnt surprise me when women dress like that, especially when they are wearing REALLY short skirts. That kinda shit could easily turn the wrong kind of heads. I dont really have much sympathy for women who dress like that.
This advert isn't trying to brand all males as sex predators which of course they're not! It's trying to challenge all peoples attitudes (male and female) towards women who experience sexual violence. It is asking all of us to confront our own beliefs and judgements on the subject. Research conducted by Amnesty International in 2005 found that 27% of people believe that a woman is totally or partially responsible if she is wearing ‘sexy or revealing’ clothing. This is what the ad is challenging
I saw this ad during the worldcup match today and i thought it was actually to tell girls not to dress sexily and that it is their fault and couldnt stop laughing.
This is terrible. It protrays men as brutal predatory savages. This protrayal of men only serves to reinforce the objectivity of women. Its perpetuating a poison idea.
I see attractive women when I'm out all the time. The last thing I think of is raping them...... maybe if I watch more videos like this it will change my outlook
This is great.. it really highlights the ridiculousness of the attitudes of those who blame victims of sexual violence for the violence. Blame only ever lies with the perpetrator.
Okay, seriously, that has got to be the most depressed clubbing music I've ever heard.
