  • Glamboys From Hell

  • tbh i dont even consider this to be that glam. at this point, van halen, iron maiden and saxon all dressed like this, but they weren't glam. they made have had some glammy aesthetics but as a whole they weren't glam.

i think this sounds awesome. i think pantera sounds better with vocals. i think if phil had at least used some of his high screaming in the post-cowboys from hell albums they would've sounded way better.

  • This is much better than their 90´s era. Anselmo sounds like shit. The riffs and solo in this song is awesome.

  • @NisseEricsson LOL the vocalist is not Anselmo man is Terry Glaze hahahaha

  • @murrrga I said that Anselmo sounds like shit. This singer is better, I never said he sang on this album.

  • @NisseEricsson ohhhh, better now ok

  • Just think, if they'd never discovered Exhorder they'd still be playing this gay shit.

  • Dimebag kick ass in all Eras of Pantera!

  • This is dreadful. Thank heavens Anselmo came along.

  • @PooPoo2U as a hair metal band theyre good, but as the pantera we know it isnt

  • Who's a bigger fag? The one who has the balls to dress how they want or the bitches that sit on their ass getting worked up over the way someone dresses as if they were at a fucking fashion show? Glam and Thrash are both awesome who fucking cares what they dress like?

  • VINNIE! YOUR TOMS ARE SO SMALL D:

  • everyone was crazy in the 80s

  • metallica didnt start out gay like this

  • @jeswasgui Metallica has been gay since the beginning =).

  • @DivaDarkie yeah um eat a dick, i can see u saying that they are gay now, but metallicas first 4 albums probably influenced everything u listen to now

  • @OneSpudd Yeah, uhm... No.

  • @DivaDarkie ummm yeah

  • @jeswasgui

True, but they might end their career worse then this.

  • now thats a guitar solo ;)

  • Check out my cover of Mr Crowley

    /watch?v=sBdStOdsraI

Feel frree to comment and if you subscribe you can send me a message with the songs you want me to cove in the future.

  • so much better than what they are known for.

  • whos the gay singer

  • PanterA is WAY better in their groove metal days but this is still good

  • this was glam....but still good .....not gay glam...if that makes sense.....

  • @dutter1983 mom?

  • This band always sucked.

  • @beowulven your mom sucked me....

  • @dutter1983

    Dad?

  • @dutter1983 bolimagane

  • Vulgar display of lipstick

  • The only thing glam about this is the clothes. You can hear the PRIEST influence crazy here.

  • 2:59 I want that guitar! What model is it?

  • Even here they kick ass!

  • pantera is a great band. FACT!

  • Pause at like 1 second till end of video to see creepy face.

  • fucking hostile demo version :D

  • Pantera was awesome in glam metal days but what they were really exceptional was groove\thrash metal

  • dude i actually think this is really good man

  • this doesn´t shows that PANTERA are posers,

this shows how great musicians are they...

    sorry for my english :P

  • @LuisSolisMiranda Exactly. They were young and played music that showed influence from great bands like Van Halen, Judas Priest, Kiss, Iron Maiden, etc. so how does that make them posers? Look at how the guys in Guns N' Roses looked back in those days along with all the other bands. They all had big hair and tight pants and played kick ass music. All the old videos of Pantera show is how they matured once they got musical direction from the greatest musician/lead vocalist ever, Philip Anselmo!

  • if it wasnt for phil there would be no pantera it would probly still be glam. did you now that dime could of been in megadeth but he refused because he wanted vinni on drums but but dave had all ready hired someone

  • glamtera!

  • Faggot posers, They were glam when glam was cool and became metal when metal was cool.

  • @FuryoftheSound They were glam because they grew up with it, they didnt just suddenly change into a metal band, they drifted into it, power metal (1988) has thrash metal influences all over it because dime became friends with kerry king.

  • Glam Metal videos are not gay, today's Metal music is gay and you call today's metal singing, If you don't have a 6 octave vocal registry shut the fuck up!

  • If you guys only listen to music because it's hard and heavy you’re not a real musician, you’re just a fucken poser.

  • A real musician plays with "soul” and loser only listens to Heavy Metal. I listen to Heavy metal as well but Heavy Metal is just a “genre” and it’s not the only music out there; Glam is not poser music, people that only listen to Heavy Metal they are the posers.

  • Not everyone was glam in the 80s - just the insincere shithead bands. While these Pantera glam fruits were still churning out cornball bullshit like this in the mid 80s, there was a ton of heavy as fuck stuff going on in underground hardcore and crossover metal. Pantera only adopted their later heavier sound AFTER hardcore-influenced metal got huge through bands like Metallica and Slayer. Pantera were derivative shitheads and Dimebag's guitar style was wanky as fuck.

  • 00:24 - Ripping a page from Gwar?!

  • Goddamn, someone needed to take a weed whacker to Darrell's hair!

  • I actually prefer glam days Pantera.....

  • @VideoRoom207 YOU TAKE THAT BACK

  • Reinventing the Spandex

  • Diamond Darrell > Dimebag Darrell. This is much better than their later albums. Their 80s period is great, I dont get why so many idiot hate it.

  • @NisseEricsson cause ppl seem to listen with there eyes more than there ears

  • When you see Glam Metal videos, You say that looks so gay, so pathetic etc. But that style is so cool back in the 80's man.

  • IMAGINE IF ANSELMO SAW THIS FOR THE FIRST TIME TODAY, HOW DID HE SEE THE TALENT IN THIS ???? THEY ARE GLAM HERE, I MEAN DAMN, I HEARD PHIL WORE GLAM TOO IN THE BEGINNING, THANK GOD THEY CHANGED...THIS WAS WEIRD WATCHING, ALMOST UNCOMFORTABLE.....

  • omg

  • To those of you that hate Glam... in my opinion it's the posers that came to the scene in the late 80's that gave it a bad rap, The earlier Glam Metal bands - Loudness,Ratt,Dokken etc... all were pure Metal. They had big hair - But kicked ass

  • @TigertailzBezerk Holy shit, you're so right! I love Glam Metal. Everyone's tryin' to say their just pussies, they can fucking kick ass! Judas Priest, Ratt, Dokken, Bango Tango, Bullet Kick, early Pantera, etc. all kick ass!

  • @dobiedub1 Yeah exactly, If people will look past the image, The music was awesome ! Poison were the band that got me into rock years ago, They are far from my favorite these days and musically were not metal. But I credit them for me becoming a metal head... But yeah,90% of Glam was badass..

  • Dont WALK away.... run as fast as u can. and dont ever stop until your under water.

  • WALK away....

  • The guitar solo was ..... WOWWWW!!!!

  • wtf?

    is it pantera?

  • @yaish100 yes jaja this is the real pantera

  • wtf?

  • GLAMTERA FTW!!!!

  • its power metal!

  • @authorized11111 yes it does resemble power metal more than glam metal....

  • It's actually pretty sophisticated for glam.

  • @TallonIV776V

yeah its Heavy & its old pantera so its interesting.

But easly understable why they didn't want people to see this footage

89 - 95 now adays im sure phil or vinnie wouldn't care if anyone seen it

too late anyways its on here

  • Barbershop Gates

  • Must admit, they resemble Def Leppard here which is awesome!

  • GLAMTERA ALL THE WAY !!

  • Woooooooooooooooooooooooow!

  • Comment removed

  • Obviously Pantera started as a glam band but when Metallica and Megadeth started making noise they quickly adapted the new sound. I mean even the Band nameis GLAM! Pantera- a sexy sleek sports car....I mean they could have been called Ferrari.

  • the great southern glam trend

  • @kaynek00l I like the sound of that!

  • FUCK ALL OF YOU WHO DIS THIS

  • This isnt too bad....Sounds almost like NWOBHM rather than glam.....

  • it remainds me a little bit to accept, specially the vocals

  • this is cool

people should not see, but listen

this is a VERY HEAVY metal...

this is almost the trash of the later fase, but got a little higher tones in guitar and vocals...

    XD

  • @pedrorockrules trash of the later fase? what the hell are you talking about?

  • @Schuldiner11 Sorry man, I don´t know if I´ve been clear, my english is very bad...

But It´s almost the Trash METAL of the Band PanterA as the people know

  • this is metal alright

  • wow this is fucking great, why did they change style?

  • @jp0005jp Agreed.

  • still kicks ass...Dimebag was a beast on the guitar even then

  • @ThrashingTheCrypts He was Diamond back then fool.

  • This Lipstick!

  • The comments are hilarious here, but i wont deny it, Pantera were hair metal...for sure..but i definately dig the power metal album and upwards especially FBD.

  • somehow reminds me of Def Leppard

  • that solo actually happened

    yeah ...

  • Holy shit dime looks like murderface!

  • I have always said that this song in particular sounds like it could be on Def Leppard's High N' Dry album. This song is all old Def leppard from the intro to the riff to the vocals.

  • crossdressers from hell

  • @ThatMetalDrummer You stole that.

  • People at my high school wear pantera shirts and they don't even know that they were a glam rock band until I told them. I hate guitar hero bitchs

  • I love the "no-segue" guitar change during the solo... epic!

  • 80's Pantera > 90's Pantera.

  • @degenerate315 I'm with you there! In the nineties they looked like dirty bums and made redneck songs. I like their 80's glam image and music much more because it's higher quality!

  • @cheapcape don't get me wrong i love the 90's aswell. i dont care about the look, i listen to the music.

  • @degenerate315 I like both, and honestly, I think Pantera's music in this era is much higher quality than their 90's drivel.

  • @cheapcape Glam stuff was great, but they honestly had to change, glam was dying out anyways.

  • @degenerate315 Glam is not dead at all though. Check the underground.

  • @cheapcape i doubt its anywhere as good as the original glam.

  • @cheapcape Good god, you cannot be serious

  • @TheFranticPedantic 100% serious.

  • holy cow THIS is pantera? i knew they were a glam band but this ROCKS ASS!!!!!! :D

  • kinda has a ratt feal and rat was a heavier band from the glam days

  • @Guitarstring187 Fuck yeah Ratt!

  • That solo is fucking awesome

  • I remember the 80's and this would have never been called glam back then. And why is it now? This would have been simply called Heavy Metal. They are not singing about love and it's not happy and they are not painting their face like transvestites..But instead bands like these sang about raising hell and kicking ass and cared about how good they played and performed.fast tasty guitar chops, high ranged vocals and tricky drum licks and etc. A lot of metal did whimp out to glam in the mid 80's

  • @rokinrandy Its called glam metal!!! Or hair metal!!!

  • @CobraGTXNoS Yea I know what The younger people call it. But I'also know what we called it at first..This is 80's style heavy metal and I never heard the term hair metal until 2000,when it first on it from satellite radio .And I think Glam Sucks and Pantera doesn't which I posted that comment. I remember at one time this was the heaviest style of music around.Glam Rock is the correct term because it was more rock centered and glittery. like poison,Cinderella. There is a difference here, lol

  • @rokinrandy Oh Well at least we can agree that Metal still kicks Ass!!!

  • being 35 yrs old,and growing up in the 80's, i love hair metal and most rock and metal from that era. still metal today!

  • As glam metal goes this is actually not bad...

  • that solo blew my fucking mind wide open

  • vinnie has Every Dokken Cd :)

  • fucking LOL to glamtera

  • Lots of Priest influence here... and just as good! R.I.P. Dime!

  • @THEMETALHED1 -alot of their old shit really does sound like priest, but this song is all old Def leppard. Listen to Let It Go or Hit and Run or anything from the High n' Dry album

  • Thank fuck for Phil Anselmo.

  • @driftn13

If you dont like this then you don't like metal and can fuck off...

  • i dont get why pantera is so ashamed of these albums. since when was glam a bad thing? besides, this isnt crappy glam, like bon jovi or poison, this is true kickass hair metal.

  • Holy fucking shit, that guitar solo from Dime just melted my face off! GLAMTERA were awesome, aha! :D

  • where can u find these albums? itunes and most stores only seems to have albums from 1990 and up.

  • @chrispacheco89 ebay or craigslist man. they stopped selling these albums after the signed to Atco records

  • pantera,pantera..

    viva el groove metal,joder!!

  • I have all pantera's discography from 1983 till 2000 and you know what? Their glam metal albums where the best of their style and were the best glam metal albums in the world!!! Even better than Quiet Riot or Bon Jovi or Motley Crue or Ratt!! All of their songs where song hits! Not even one was boring! Every glam song of them is a masterpiece and I LOVE IT!!!!!! 80' pantera FUCKING RULED PERIOD I just can't get the fuck enough listening to their 80'stuff it is driving me insane!

  • @wraithgrinder i wish they would of played at least some of these songs live during the 90's phil did the last glam record ya know power metal

  • @tgm5150 hey dont worry dude i Got Terry's voice so i got some dudes here in London who obey to me and we agreed to make this kinda of music very soon! i can sing perfectly all of their 3 record glam metal albums so yeah we are gonna make some fucking covers of them, post them on youtube and probably become the first band to ever cover Pantera's glam songs! I will let you know when we post ok? Cheers mate..:-)

  • OMG vulgar display of hairspray!!

  • @3andr3w3 You stole this from the same guy that the other guy stole from.

  • @3andr3w3 Great Post.

  • Pantera in their true form. When grunge hit they became "Tuff". This is classic. I wont mention names but anyone who knows about extreme metal in the 80's knows that Pantera had zero influence on metal. They just jumped off the glam bandwagon and into something else. Too bad he got shot other wise they just would have been thrown in the trash like Nirvana as flash in the pan 90's transitional bullshit. Love live true metal. Vulgar Display of Poser. Cant wait for the hate mail.

  • @jtk6959 Sorry I ment long live true metal. I know the grammar nazis will discredit anything if a letter or two is off.

  • @jtk6959

ZERO influence on Metal?!!! I think Biohazard, Pro-Pain, Black Label Society, Slayer (yes I know they came before Pantera...) and about two-thirds of all the "Nu"-metal bands would disagree.

BTW, they went Extreme and heavy in 1990, roughly 2 years BEFORE the Grunge Revolution went big.

  • @jtk6959 Actually, they changed their sound because Phil was tired of getting glammed up, so he suggested they just wear whatever they were comfortable in. They changed their sound to match the image.

  • def panterard

  • @valehathar lol. Hell yeah. You are right

  • Yeah!!!!! Pantera for ever!!!! They are the best!!! PANTERA!!!! It is so cult but so true an amazing!!!! RIP Dime!

  • wow pantera was amazing at glam metal and groove metal

i bet they could have gone to any genre of music and would have been the greatest

  • Damn, I owned that Camaro in '79!!

    Song is very Def Leppard-y

  • Nice second gen camaro at the start!

  • glam metal pantera was much better than groove metal pantera ! metal magic sucked but PITJ and IATN kicked ass (i prefer the first one) ! power metal was also very good.

CFH was different but was fucking great ! then VDOP and FBD only had 2 good songs on each album (walk and fucking hostile / and im broken and 5 minutes alone).

the rest sucked ! long live glam pantera !

  • @xDIStructorx I hope you're kidding...its nice you like glam metal...but don't disgrace the greatest metal band.

  • @HammettGates

i dont disgrace them but in my opinion this is much better then the great southern trendkill or revolution is my name.

and now seriously there are much better metal bands than pantera ! they were just the most succesful (except for metallica).

  • @xDIStructorx You don't know about what you are talking...

  • @HammettGates

    umm yes !

  • @xDIStructorx ok I let think what you want...

  • Dime's playing is as great as ever, but thank fuck they changed styles. I personally hate this pussy glam shit.

  • that was rock 'n out ! wicked

  • damn that solo....jesus christ

  • Haha, im laughing (: Pantera used to be this :D

Dont get me wrong this is awesome! i like glam metal as well and Pantera could've killed it with this scene. But im glad they went on to play groove metal instead. Pantera rules either way! \M/

  • wow! thanx for posting this!!!!!! DIME TORE THAT SHIT UP!!!! AWESOME! \m/ Getcha PULL!

  • Ugh...this is painful to watch. Hate me all you want, but this should make any metalhead cringe with disgust.

  • agreed

  • Sounds like early Def Leppard

  • That was fuckin bad ass....Dime rockin that shit.....I remember hearing this on our local college radio station WKNC 88.1 in early 86...I was d'jing a party and put it on auto-knc....dAmn that was good!!!

  • 0:40 Is that Terry doing air guitar?

  • Dime must have been playing solos on his ambilical cord when he was born coz he's always been a fucking awsome guitarist!!

  • you can tell van halen was very influencial on the band

  • Can't find any lyrics from Projects in the Jungle either but there's the lyrics to Metal Magic, I Am the Night and Power Metal at Dark Lyrics.

  • hey guys guess what...its all over tonight..

  • lol
