playing this was the epitome of my senior year of highschool. I have and will probably never again experience playing such an awe-inspiring piece of music. It is the pinnacle of creation--beauty at its absolute perfection. The perfect wedding between tonality and dissonance, voice and instruments, love and hate. If there was one piece in the world to study for a lifetime, this is that piece.

This is very subjective. Sometimes one feels in touch with the universe by listening to Baroque music, while other times by listening to Beethoven and other Classical and Romantic masterpieces.
