I don't know how good Cooper would have been in the NFL, but he was an All State receiver in HS and was on track to be signed by Ole Miss just like his Father. I respect Peyton for finding his own way to stardom, not riding anyone's good graces to get where he is and honoring his brother even then. When he went to Ole Miss he also saw a doctor that diagnosed he had some condition where the space around his spinal cord was too small and putting pressure on it. He had surgery and is fine today, he just had to stop playing football immediately. He is now a VP or something of some energy company in New Orleans where he lives with his family.

If Peyton truly wanted to follow in his father's footsteps like his brother, he would have shown it the greatest by going to Ole Miss who wanted him. Instead he went to Tennessee. Also, his father has little to do with his professional career, where as Eli was greatly influenced by his father in the draft, holding out for a trade. Cases could be made either way, but again I doubt it.
