  • I'm glad that Izzy left GnR. Sure, they were a great band but his solo stuff is just fucking amazing!

  • Ever wondered how many great tunes theyd make if Guns stuck together, Theyd be there with the Stones and Aerosmith.

  • so wonderful song Izzy.. feel like dreaming while listening to this piece of art.. miss you so much!!

  • it's funny how he sings better than axl and the sheeps are just awesome :) great song by the way his voice calm me

  • the sheeps are just random

  • Its look great with this initial video! Good Job, very nice man............

  • i dont know but hes the best rythm guitarist

  • wat type of music does he do?? lik dis + hammerhead + sweet caress + shuffle it all + all them??

  • I wish Slash would just guest star in one of Izzy's solo albums

  • I'm a huge gnr fan. It's beyond me that I missed what a great talent Izzy was and still is. I guess I had my eyes on Slash & Duff so much, LOL. Izzy is AWESOME!

  • The first :53 seconds are from the Harley Davidson "Better" video.

The slide-show that ends at 1:20 is from Adler's Appetite's Appetite for Destruction 20th Anniversary celebration in July 2007. Duff and Izzy joined Adler's band for a set.

  • what song was gnr performing at the end?

  • The older video that comes first is "Goodnight Tonight" from the Roxy (Hollywood) 1986.

The video at the end is from Deer Creek, Indiana 1991 "Dust N' Bones."

You can find both of those videos on YouTube.

  • really talented,,i love izzy stradlin

  • What is the name of the album where this song appears?

  • Fire ... The Acoustic Album

  • What a great talent

  • Wow.. that's my favourite song now. So.. beautiful in some way. Go Izzy! :]]

  • Welcome to the jungle opening lick. My personal favourite piece of work from Izzy.

  • Rock on, IZZY!

  • isso sim é guns n roses!!!

  • the soul of gnr.. they lost it when he left.sure they toured for two more years after he left, but couldn't do much without him after.

  • i agree with you

  • @curdog602 and for some reason they never wrote another song after he left, all they released were covers...(until chinese democracy, which made a lot of people wish axl had stuck to covers)

  • He was the main songwriter, and a great talent, love the GnR

  • thanks for posting

  • 1:34-.. tiempos aquellos

ojala q algun dia " digan una frace asi

"como lo permitimos, que es lo que hicimos tan ,mal fue este orgullo desgaciado que no supimos tragar."

q paso ? en realidad q paso nunca se sabra..

  • great song

  • Izzy's always had a unique ear for music. I've always liked his style of acoustic playing- the rough, dirty agression and sincerity, more than the great abundance of generic chick-picking out there. Slides make a difference.

  • Izzy is a different class, most people don't realise how important he was to the GN'R sound, and songwriting.

    Thanks for posting this.

  • dude i could not agree more after 1991 their songs wasent as good because he wrote alot of big hits like sweet child of mine and there wasent alot of rythom with out him

  • @Nabou1 yea a different class of junkies for sure

  • Wel i tryed to play along with it and i got

F Dm Am C, then when it changes to the bridge i think it gos, Dm Am Dm Am Dsharp, and then C. wel it sounded good to me something like tha.

  • cam some one please give me the chrodsfor this song i want to play it it is so awsome

  • words can't describe how much i loved this song.

im fucking serious dude, it's beautiful.

    [/inlove]

Izzy will always be my favourite musician, and GNR member. :)

  • IZZY is the GR8'st

    ROCK ON !

  • anybody knows the chord he is playing

  • Yeah Izzy likes it that way.He never wanted GnR to go big to start of.

  • Can someone put this song on limewire!

  • seems to me baby!!!!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • How beautiful is this song. Reminds me of my old days.. We love you Izzy

  • it would be really awesome if izzy did an autobiography so everyone knew what he was thinking through all of this

  • that would be really awesome

  • i think there is a book about Izzy Stradlin called Dust and Bones.

    just google it

  • ok cool

  • @oldgnrlover08 when izzy and axl write their bios i will buy all five

  • Izzy aint underrecognized!

We recognize him! The fucking soul and power behind Guns!

The jazz and the blues. The rock n roll.

He was GnR's Keith Richards and Tom Waits.

And -he- still makes good music.

  • its sad how Izzy is underrecognized he rocks!!!

  • I think he likes it that way.

  • Ya i guess he does sond like that type of person

  • The backbone of GNR! When he left it became "The Axl Rose Project" and the band quickly fell apart.

  • well i don't know if that's 100% true absolutely izzy was a massive part of GNR but at that point it wouldn't matter who left first GNR was dying =(

  • I agree with jimmaaaa. When Izzy left, the band fell apart very quickly. Axl was the voice of Gn'R, Slash was the soul, but Izzy was the heart! He is a great songwriter and arranger. Axl has struggled without his help.

  • anyone knows the concert that was being shown slash goes crazy

  • 01.18.86 - The Roxy, Hollywood, CA

  • Izzy=THE MAN!

    LOVE IZZY!

  • Awesome song...it's interesting hearing stuff like this coming from the former GNR guitarist, but it all sounds AWESOME!

  • izzy you are too underrated but we know your the man ! Keep it cool ! You make MUSIC ! Peace !

  • Does anyone Know where can I buy this album? I know it's on sale on I tunes but...only on I tunes???

  • DAMmm he is the best!!

    GO IZZY....

  • such a great song..Izzy rules

  • Izzy fuckin Stradlin...

    bad ass song..:)

  • what year is this song from?

  • 2007

  • izzy still doing music huh?

  • this is great.

simple, no frills but it just works.

  • People said the same shit about Patience when it came out... It's acoustic rock with slide lead. If you have to put a label on it, it's folk more than anything. Izzy could piss on the microphone and while slapping his dick on the guitar and it'd be more intellectual than you lowlifes.. EveryONes a Critic!!!

  • Well said, Phil!

    Rock N Roll!

  • Indeed! Well said, Phil!

  • WTF?

Izzy got really good. I've heard the first Ju Ju hounds and nothing since.

  • pretty smart song.

  • i know im ganna get bitched at for this... but izzy really went the wronge derection with his music... this is more of a contrey song he used to LIVE for rock and roll. sorry for the nasty comment. but its the truth

  • yeah i know what you mean, but i would say that this is more than JUST country music, this is more like early rock and roll like the expirimental stuff the Beatles did or even The Who ad stuff, but that my take

  • yeah i agree fully mate

  • really good izzy is a genius

search crackin' up of izzy is amazing!!!

  • Damn awesome song. This dude is way under-appreciated.

  • i love this man, Izzy Stradlin is the best musician ever!!** =P

Guns was never the same after he left

  • I don't have an iTunes account or a credit card ='(

i love the song but everytime i wanna hear it i have to search it here

  • IF YOU WANT THIS SONG IT'S ON I-TUNES

  • Killer Izzy!

  • What an awesome song- Izzy is the key ingredient to G n R song writing. Glad he's still doing it!

  • Izzy we miss you so much!! We wish you joined the early Guns N' Roses!!

  • great song

  • Why Do WE Not acknowledged that Izzy was the Lyricist behind GUNS"!

  • Not like he was the only songwriter, Axl and the rest of the band helped out too.

  • I agree, and it's much more clear to me now the influence that Izzy also had on the sound.

  • Yes. Press and information workin on guns around '90s should ask for excuse both to Izzy and the fans ... In truth, Izzy was the real genius behind GNR grooves & musical poetry

  • this is definetly your soul singing and playing...even though this tune has some melancholy vibe, it resembles more of that freedom of detachment from bad things that came with the good and that is glorifying! fav tune!

  • i love this song but i can't download it =´(

  • amazing video man just amazing

  • Izzy is like a modern day Bob Dylan

  • that's right, man! Izzy is like a modern B. Dylan

  • Izzy forever!!!

  • The sheep images are from the famous Harley Davidson publicity.

  • You uploaded this on my birthday this year I(and two days after Izzy's lol), is this an officail video or did you make it?

  • This is just a homemade video - but thank you so much for asking - that's the best praise I could imagine.

  • izzy stradlin is the man..its always slash. dont forget mr.stradlin.. still i love the fill of slahses bending and

  • yea man.. Izzy's really cool.. he did lots for GnR and didn't get all that much publicity and acclaim.. most ppl only know Slash and Axl.. but Izzy was a great contribution.. as were all band members

  • Yea I was thinking about that too That Izzy should join Vetvet Revolver but I don't think that he would want that kind of fame again. And I Really like his voice but don't think that it's strong enough to carry VR and I don't think that he would want to sing Axl's songs even though he wrote most of them

  • yup izzy stradlin is planning to make a GNR reunion but with the original memebers

so that mean axl, izzy, tracii guns, ole beich and a drummer that i dont remember his name

but slash, duff and steven will not be there

  • y the fuck would he do that bud? that lineup did pretty much nothing in L.A. back in the day so y would he tour with them?

  • this is fucking good :) i love it..

  • Man,I cant enough of this song.Great vid too. thx....

  • GN'R Reunion! PLEASE

  • can't get this song out of my head

  • Izzy should join Velvet Revolver, but he is good...

  • FINALLY SOME1 WHO AGREES WITH ME! lol

  • gawd i luv IZ

  • what cd is this from?

  • From his latest effort "Fire". Actually it's not available on cd - only on ITunes.

  • Izzy should join Velvet Revolver to replace Weiland

  • His sound likes lobo very much

  • He has such a great voice!

    I love his songs :]

  • Izzy'z amazing (:

  • Izzy is better without GNR

  • Hi!!!!!!!! Beautiful song, piics & images!!!!
