To be fair, the band just looks out of place there...like they know its not their scene...audience is probably picking up on that. They probably have been listening to a bunch of young indie bands all day. I LOVE Yes, but they just seem uninspired and out of their element there.
@chairdude1 Yea I never got into Marillion. I can't really judge them because I haven't listened to more than one song by them. I also like Tangerine Dream, Genesis, Camel, King Crimson, Rush, Gentle Giant, Caravan, Gong, etc. I'd have to say that Yes is easily one of my favorites, though
I love these Glastonbury songs for some reason. I think its because its the smaller venue setup like the one they used on their last tour, but with Jon Anderson and Rick Wakeman. There is a big difference in the energy.
WoW! Classic Wakeman keyboard gymnastics. In the seventies he did these in a long flowing cape.
Well I'm glad that their enthusiasm doesn't mirror the crowds... This crowd is lame! With the exception of a few middle aged folks and the one girl bobbing her head in front of the camera everyone's just standing there with frowns on their faces.. It annoys me that people my age (not all, but a majority) just can't seem to appreciate the ridiculous musicianship of this legendary band!
Maybe they were all dreaming easy in the chair that really fit them?!lol!
Seriously though, it was a boiling hot day the day they played Glasto, plus the fact the British audiences are notorious for not getting up and boogieying a bit.
Nice to see them in a more relaxed atmosphere than their usual stadia. Wish I'd been there. Saw them just before this time in Estepona, Southern Spain - they were awesomely good.
Only eight years ago... gee, I wish this line-up were still recording & touring.

Exactly, these fools in the audience aren't worthy to be in the presence of this great band.

you're right..but most people these days have never heard of Yes (kids, i mean)
klepetar 2 years ago
Agree. I'm about the same age of these kids and I had more energy boogieing on my armchair than those kids.
The vocal gymnastics of Anderson!!! 8D

@sheabags1 It makes me sick. Yes is brilliant. I would be flipping out if I was there!

OMG - Squire's lik at :39
And the camera missed it. Was a juicy one. Squire's in a frisky mood for this performance I think.
