She CAN sing, she took opera, but since she´s dancing while she´s singing, it ruins her voice and makes her out of tune. I saw a video of when she was singing in classical lessons and she sings REALLY GOOD when she doesn´t dance. I wiuld highly recomend to all those people who want to be singers to not dance while singing. She actually sang pretty good for a disney channel star.

i <3 vanessa, she is honestly one of the few ppl in disney that actually has singing talent. Don't get me wrong, hilary duff isn't bad, and ashley tisdale isnt either, but her voice's kinda squeaky,

in a review of the HSM concert, they wrote that Vanessa was the 'break out star' of HSM because out of ashley and corbin and her who did solo show cases, she was the only one without using backup tracks, so that proves shes proud of her voice and she has confidence
