From what my grandpa told me stories about working on the PRR before WW2 and after he served in the army. I wish I was born back in the 20's and lived up through the 30's, 40's and 50's. The world was not perfect back then tough, but things were simpler. Life was not as confusing as today. It took a harder work, but really hard work is a good thing. Working on the railroad was hard work back then, and I wish I was a part of it.
As a railroad artist also, I love what you have done with the 4449! You have captured it to the tee! I got to see it in Michigan during the train fest for the first and only time of my life, I have to paint her also!!! Reminds me of the old railroad calendars from the late '40s and early '50s. Thanks for helping preserve a rich part of our history.
