you need the doom 2 wad file (doom2.wad) and ZDoom (GZDoom is recommended, anyway)

you can use a launcher or use this method. Go to Start, then to Run and there put browse and look for your gzdoom.exe file, then, in the end of the adress that will appear, put, after the ", -iwad doom2.wad -file towninf.wad

Designing levels isn't really that hard, programs like doom builder 2 make it really simple.

The sprite rips aren't even his, they're very cheaply ripped from Goldeneye TC.

The only interesting thing about it was how he managed to get the camera to move like that for the opening, other than that it was just a mess.
