I am currently in contract with a short sale, but the can't seem to get in touch with the real estate agent after signing the contract. I need to get home inspectors and a contractor on the premises but I keep getting excuses from the home owner and the agent. The last one was a big one, "death in the family" yet I can't get access or a time table as how long they need to mourn. I am being ask to wait further.
Should i be concern with the wait, being that property & interest rate may go up?

thanks for the info. We put in an offer on a short sale 3 weeks ago and of course are still waiting.......on the bank.
