@sonicsteev .... lol "Love Buzz"'s hair no im only kidding it's just kind of funny considering everyone always asks them about Nirvana which would get irratating for them after a while but i can't blame people for asking Nirvana is a great band and Kurt is a really interesting person and The Melvins were one of Kurt's favorite bands and biggest influences.

Can anyone think of any other bands that have been around for as long as the Melvins that are still releasing relevent music that rocks as hard as theirs? Their last album was a huge huge return to form. I don't think i've seen a band that have been around as long as them have their last album actually stand alongside their best work.

This must be when they were mixing (A) Senile Animal; this is around the same time Big Business was finishing their latest album. Melvins just played Sacramento with Big Business, and it was a total MIND-BLOWING scene. I think the Asian dude in this played guitar for them in Sac. last week, but I'm not sure.

why does almost every interviewer INSIST on asking them about nirvana? more than ten years after cobaine killed himself, is there any question buzz or dale HAVEN'T answered about nirvana?? there are a thousand other, more-interesting topics about which the melvins have to say, especially buzz. as a fan and a journalist, it's tiresome to me when interviewers waste time like that.

Personally I don`t think they`ve managed to reinvent themselves this time with a senile animal. It`s a good record, but nothing new compared to their earlier stuff.
