Gerstlauer is doing a better job of designing more than vertical drop coasters (or eurofighters) than Intamin AG, so why do they keep on showing Fahrenheit as an example?
i wanna design a rollercoaster called dark cobra, 4 cobra rolls 1 corckscrew 3 360 degree spins and one amazing drop that will have you saying, this ride is awesome
The narrators of these shows are so incredibly prone to hyperbole...."You're brain goes into complete fear overload." Fahrenheit is not as scary as they attempt to portray it as.
We have a lot of coasters already like that but you do have some good coasters, im just saying that overall america has better coasters that you dont have.
It doesnt matter if they were first or not we have more than one of them and good ones too. Collossous has 2-3 more inversions, nothing much. Mumbo jumbo, tiny rollercoaster that goes in, nothing. YOu still dont have anything on us.
hey when was this in tv? i missed it!!!! ahh live 1 hour away from hershey in lackawana county.......goin there on teusday!doin some POV's...check em out1
Intamin's just improving on what gerstlauer started. And that first element is called a Norweigan Loop...I hate when these shows get shit like this wrong.
what channel is this whats it called?

......Also, They say Fahrenheit was the world's fist 97 degree drop. That's simply not true.

A few things:
Another reason the train goes over the hill so fast is because the chain pushes rather than pulls the train
Also, at one point the narrator said that Farenheit has 3 trains: he meant to say 3 cars, each train consists of 3 cars

Which coaster had the first Norwegian Loop?
The Fahrenheit or Rip, Ride, Rockit at Universal Studios? There, they call it the Double Take.

@Epicosity101 Considering Fahrenheit was built in 2008 I think, and Rip Ride Rockit was built in 2009, Fahrenheit was first.

the UK beats the ride with orange track (forgot the name) with a 97 degree drop.
we have SAW: The Ride at Thorpe Park, Surrey, London, UK.
this ride has a 100 degree drop and owns american rides.
adamkehoe73 2 years ago
You have one good ride... no Kingda Ka, no Top Thrill Dragster, no Millennium Force? Thats what I thought, you have nothing on us.
Hav0k22 2 years ago
stealth, saw, Collosous (thorpe Park)
Air, Nemisis, Oblivion (Alton Towers)
Kumali, Mumbo Jumbo (Flamingo Land)
G-Force (Drayton Manor)
Speed (Oakwood)

Out of those, probably only Nemesis stands out. Apart from oblivion and stealth, the rest arent really that great.

Ha! Intamin has used all of Fahrenheit's elements on previous coasters. Also, the pullout from the 97 degree drop lasts more than a few milliseconds.
