pretty good,1 trained itf tkd from 1984 till 2000 and found that the 1 thing that brougth my sparring on the most was boxing, i started that in 1996,within 1 year nobody in tkd that i sparred ever gave me any trouble,if the contact gets heavy the weak boxer will be destroyed,ive seen it and experienced it repeatedly.All the best tkd lads have decent boxing.barada,tapilatu,zelg galesic(the only tkd lad in elite mma).Problem is theres no boxing coaching in tkd,you have to look elsewhere
I agree, I have been going to boxing lessons and it has helped my sparring. I now teach taekwondo & also include some boxing drills I have been taught, so that I can produce an all round fighter (minus ground game).
