Lee And Nancy, the best duet singers ever. Was not into that type of music until
I heard Summer Wine. The song had a very import part to play at a time in my life, a long life memory it will be.Does anyone have summer wine video other than the B&W in 65?
One of the best songwriters ever. Johnny Cash and June Carter had a big hit with "Jackson" and even though Lee didn't write this one, Nancy Sinatra and Lee recorded it first as a duet and had a hit with it #14 -- in 1967. It's probably this version that Johnny Cash heard. If nothing else Lee....thanks for "These Boots Are Made for Walkin'" - Nancy will keep you alive with that alone.
I saw Lee in concert in Stockholm, Sept 2002. He blew me away with his music and his humour. I listen to his music all the time and I find his take on life inspiring. Lee, thank you - you are missed.
I was at that party for Lee. He was the bravest man I think I've ever know. He delt with his impending death without fear. I will always consider myself very privledged to have known him and call him a friend. He was a special guy. I will miss him always.
I know I was very Lucky to have known him. He was a fun guy with a million stories. He knew EVERYONE in the music business and had stories to tell. Great guy. I miss him every day
I like his and her song very much .

I like the way he looked at dying. I look at him as an inspiration on living as well as dying.

What a gem, never knew this existed.
Thank you sooo so very much!!
His voice never ceases to give me the chills.
I can't believe that he passed in 2007, it seems to me like it was only last week. And it still hurts. And always will
