not totally true. A napalm equivalent bomb is still currently in use by US forces, just not directly on troops. As well as white phosphorus. Both have been used in Iraq.

Civilian casualties is why, apaches have more situational awareness, can stay over an area longer with troops and napalm definatly isn't the answer to everything, it's rather inefficient.

The ONLY reason why there are more instances of American friendly fire is because there's like 20x more American troops than there are British. British military isn't any better at preventing fratricide than American troops. You consider that there are hundreds of thousands of us, versus a few thousand Brits...up the number of Brits and see what happens...same thing. Also, Americans also work the most violent and unstable parts of the country as well.
