It took me so many years to find them, I had forgotten the band name. I found a web site too, you can get all their music on mp3. The song Jive Ass was my favorite one year in the 70s.
Huge fan of LS and the HS in Richmond. Would go to late night concerts with a big dance floor and never never stop dancing, hot music, hot guys, what nights were these.....
Saw him in Dodge city Ks. abou t76 or 77. None of us had seen a show of this high energy magnitude before. We were just flat out blown away. wonder what he's doing now? anybody know?
OMG! I look for LR&HS stuff all the time, but I've never seen this. Please, please, please if there is a god in heaven, if you or anyone else has a live version of Rock-and-Roll Warning, and would post it here, I would be your friend for life!

I was thinking about this song all week and thought...let's see what's on YouTube. Nice surprise to hear a live 1975 version! I was a college radio station DJ in 76-79 and opened my weekly afternoon show with dixie diner..." Lord, there is nuthin' finer ... than sittin' down eaten at the Dixie Diner! True Dat! Thanks...
Hey Does Anybody Have Any Of The Original By Chance? I Loved This Group Right Here And Always Will!! Would Love To Hear The Whole Original Album If Anyone Has It PLEASE UPLOAD IT!! THANKS!! MOST LOVE!!
Thanks, haven't heard this song since at least 1976. To actually see this is like a long dream come true. They were so energitic I'll bet it was even threatening at the time, what happened to this band is a mystery to me, although I'm friends with Larry on Facebook, it's still an untold story to me. Tragic really, but at least we have this, thanks a million for the rare treat. I see it's from a movie I must get my hands on as a rock history collector.
I saw these guys in New Orleans-mardi-gras early 70's !!! I'm with you DeaconBlues61 . Best entertainment band ever..WHAT-A-Show..I'm rolling in memories[ also I managed to purchase a 33 1/3 vinyl LP after the show..still have it somewhere but it does have a few nicks [it made it to many parties in OHIO and at OSU campus.if I can find it I'll try to post it. Would that DeaconBlues-be from the song? Later
Oh........after reading your profile I assume you're Bill Marshall........thanks again for ther upload bro, and any other similar stuff would be appreciated. I still listen to "High Steppin' AFD" and "In the Pink" a lot!
Wow! I was lookin' around for Highsteppers stuff and look what I found! Saw these guys in Jackson Ms. a couple of times in the 70s. I must have seen a thousand bands in my life but this was the best live band I ever witnessed.

Rock-n-Roll will make you rant and rave,
It'll send you to an early grave,
but compared to what's left.
