i think the song whats left of me says it all, jessica took nicks best vanessa is a girl who will stand by him, and i think he made a good choice for the mother of his children, jessica was a spoiled selfish brat, and she ruined a relationship with a man who obviously loved her. Im sure he loves vanessa but there is a difference between the love of your life and other loves. i definately think vanessa is loved by nick but jessica was the love of his life.

I've always loved Nick and Jessica (and always will), but moreso Nick as a person. I truly believe he is a good guy and as much as some of us wish it was still Nick and Jessica, it's not. We don't have to like N & V as a couple, but we should respect it, at least for him and his happiness.

It's awkward because he met Vanessa while he was married, and then she starred in his music video "What's Left of Me", which was about his divorce. I don't doubt they're in love and Vanessa seems like a wonderful person, but there's just something about Nick and Jessica that just seems so dearing. I loved the two. I just wished Jessica was more mature and knew what she had. Because I honestly don't think they're both completely happy. I guess Nick will just have to be 'the one that got away'.

I think Vanessa is a beautiful loving intelligent young woman. I wish her and Nick a loving marriage and life. I think the past is the past. Both Nick and jessica have moved on with their lives. Jessica is pregnant with her fiance's child and is about to embark on being a mother. Each have new lives and I wish them well.

But that being said.. I do believe that there marriage, there love is pure geniune. And they did wait 5 years before doing it. Now I would have been like what the hell if it was a year after but. they waited for 5 years and you can really see it's real. I just wish the wedding wasn't broadcasted on tv. I think it is a bit rude to call it their dream wedding when he had a televised wedding with Jessica Simpson and he looked very happy with her during their wedding. It's like he is throwing it in Jessica's face. Also, he says he never asked any girl to be in his video, but Jessica was in one of 98 Degrees' video when they were dating. I don't know.
