Ok. Makeup is an art. Art can be done by ANYONE. you can draw on canvas'. You can draw on regular paper. And you can draw on a face. Does it fricken matter who's the artist?? NO. A woman or not a woman doesn't matter. Girls can play football. Why can't men make art on faces? He's giving you advice on makeup and half of you guys that are looking at this are going. "Holy shit... The guy is putting lipgloss on" you know what?? he has COURAGE to do that. Give him credit.

OMG, I do the under eye-liner thing (but also the upper lid)--the reason is to try to make the skimpy lower lashes look thicker. But I agree, the Trish brush is the way to go here. BTW, I learned a trick with it--take this brush and wipe it over a soft eyeliner pencil--you will get just enough product to push a very fine line into the lash line--easier to control for me than liquid or powder liner.

I disagree. Makeup can hide a multitude of sins. I've seen very plain faces transformed into outstanding faces. Truly gross persons obviously cannot. But most people are not gross...just plain and ordinary with certain flaws that can be minimized if you know what you're doing. Sarah Jessica Parker comes to mind. Sorry, she's a horse face that can be beautiful if the right artist works on her (and they usually do).

@muraplus700 mineral powder IS foundation! It's a lighter, more natural way of evening out the skin tone and much faster to apply than liquid or cream foundation. The particular shade of foundation you'll use is completely dependent on your individual skin tone. Hope this helps! :):)
