@CROTheTechnoboy nope....Vauxhall is British. The Australian company is Holden. All owned by GM as you say though Vauxhall is the oldest of all those companies starting out as a Marine engine builders.
I bought a brand new Corsa VXR in June 2008 and by November I'd sold it. The stupid thing just fell apart, the build quality was awful. Word of warning, never buy a Vauxhall VXR.
id say £3000 fully comp if your lucky because im 22 with 2 years no claims and no points and its about £1600 for me. your best bet is the sxi or sri and get the irmy exterior pack.
Iv got a 2 litre BMW at 18 and the insurance was £4,500 fully comp lol - i took £2,600 third party lol. (its up to £2,800 odds cause of the mods I've had done).
my mates got one of the vauxhall vxr arctic... its a beast, it has so much power, and sounds great with the remus exhaust. i want one... if only i could afford it... and it wasnt limited edition =[

@staggabob .. Vauxhall and Opel are very similar if not the same, only difference is the steering wheel (left, right) ...

@CROTheTechnoboy I know that, thanks. I was correcting you when you said Vauxhall was the Australian version of Opel.

I own a SAAB (Vauxhall's "luxury" brand") which also falls apart. Word of warning, never buy a vauxhall in any form.
