Haha, I accidentally clicked on this video again today and after reading all the comments, it really does sound like you're frying a cat! I spent a good minute or two just laughing at that before going on to the next video.

Ha ha ha! Cha-cha, or any other cat, was not harmed in the making of this video. No cicadas were either! Ha ha, I think Cha-cha would flip if she saw a live cicada. I need to add the frying cat thing when/if I make the sci-fi spoof about the cicadas. Smiling is always a great thing.

With the static it sounded like someone was frying a cat. LoL

Ha! That is not static. The sound you hear in the back are the cicadas singing in their nasal voices. The crying cicadas are a strong image of summer in Japan. Cha-cha just woke up when I made this video and she loves to talk when she gets up. With the cicadas crying and Cha-cha meowing I guess it could sound like a frying cat. Thanks for watching.

Hi Julz,

Thanks for such a lovely topic. Understanding that our feelings are valid is a hard concept to latch onto--this concept has been even hard for me to accept at times. I should check my hair before the video. I don't want to be a female vulcan look-aline anymore. I need to go to FING, the salon where I get my hair done.
