@ZarsasCostumes Man Candy Is not the program lol. Blender is the name of the program man candy is just a common model that is availible free from someplace. But You can model what ever character you wan't Blender does not even come with the Man Candy Model.

For beginners... Yes. Probably the hardest software possible for beginners. However, a bit of screwing around with it, and you will be good.

I'd have to disagree. Blender is not that much harder than any other 3D application around. Many 3D applications have a steep learning curve. Agreed Blender hasn't got the most intuitive UI, but they're restructuring it comletely for upcoming version 2.5 which will be very different and so much better. Blender 2.5 is planned for realease in fall 2009.

ya but that could be hard to switch from normal blender to V: 2.5 exactly because the ui is changing.

but i think thats better in the long run any way

That was incredible!!! I would put 10 stars if it were possible. The animation and compositing is paramount. And one question: Did you make the objects in the background or use a backdrop?

Thanks a lot! I made all the objects in the backdrop, blurred by focal depth. If you look closely, you'll see the plant slowly moving (actually too much I guess..).
