I was once at a playground with my kids and a little girl of about 9 showed up and started playing and talking to me. She was very open, friendly and trusting. She told me her mom was at home watching TV. Looking back on it, I probably should have called someone. I know I was safe, but if she goes to the playground alone all the time, anything could happen! To all parents, i advise you to get a guard dog like i have myself, if your child is going on a walk make sure they have the dog with them, preferebly get german shepherds. they are really smart and may not seem like they will protect but if something bad happens they will attack, ive almost got kidnapped because people slow down and park by the edge then start driving again once they see my german shepherd, theres a guy in a town about 7 minutes away from me and he trys to abduct children...

Today I was back at a park where I take my dog for a regular walk. I really appreciate parents and mothers have to take precautions where their kids are concerned but I wish some mom's would be more subtle. There were many people around today. I had to walk within 20 ft of her stroller that a small baby. Mom had a Shepherd dog she was playing fetch with and she was about 10 feet from the stroller. Even tho I was 20 ft away she still went over and held the cart until I passed. Then she let go.

I have a big dog that I take to various public parks for walks. Appreciating the concern parent's have for their kids safety, I do the right thing and mind my own business. I don't get near kids or their families and usually stay at least 50 yards away. But every once in awhile a child will wander away from their parent and walk in my vicinity. But I really hate it when the parent (usually a Mom) calls out in a frightened voice for their child to come back as if I was a bad man.

Hate a late uncle who spent summer months at a trailer campground with my aunt. One day a couple of gossipers began to circulate rumors about him being a pedophile which he never was.
