@drazapatos PS- Asides from the fact that there is no evidence that magazines provides incentives for men to rape, IF a simple picture of a girl is enough incentive for a man to rape a girl, then pretty much ANYTHING woulda done the trick already. @drazapatos Underage range from 13-18 depending on the area. 13 and 18 being both equally rare. And why should Japan, or any other country, care about what other countries think? Every country is different. Look at Canada's lax judicial system. Or America's lawsuit-happy nature. Equating pictures of young girls with pedophilia is just an overreaction thanks to the "think of the children!" mindset politicians use for easy votes. Lastly, countries more lax about these things have LESS rape.

@drazapatos There are male equivalents of such magazines. Those are mostly aimed at older female audiences. As for why there aren't magazines aimed at both gender audiences, well have you ever seen girls watch Dragon Ball? Have you seen any boys look at women's magazine about perfumes? Excluding rare exceptions of course. All magazines aim at specific demographics. Those who aim for too broad a demographic end up barely selling any.
