I can honestly say that I LOVE my new Ford Edge! I had always been more of a believer of Japanese (Lexus) or German (BMW) cars. But I saw the Edge and it's exterior really attracted me for some reason. Then I test drove it and loved the way it handled - not as detached as the Lexus but not as bumpy as the BMW. I also was intrigues by what the MyFord Touch could do (A LOT!!!) and I was not disappointed. This car is amazing and I'm still discovering new voice commands/functions 4 weeks later!

Jockdr650 and others - To become a chief engineer at Ford is no mean feat (for anyone) - and by being THE PERSON in charge of designing and delivering a great car (for all concerned) to the American car market, Elaine has done more for the cause of enhancing respect for women than just about anyone else I can think of. To focus on truly trival concerns like someone's haircut or pantsuit indicates a truly unfortunate lack of perspective.
Yeah, the girl (not fair to call her a broad, gents) is pretty lame with that Farah Fawcett haircut and that 1987 pantsuit. I have been noticing how advertising efforts these days seem aimed at women, so may be that's why she was put on camera..

I absolutely love it! But she's killing me! Its kinda like someone grandma in her office pants suit with her ridiculous out dated scarf trying to sell me a car to hold onto her house because of a bad stock market with her house in foreclosure. That commerical would've went better if a man was driving it an she was crossing the street with a push cart.

Beware of the dual climate control air conditioner, the regional rep stated the 2010 system will not be improved, the automatic mode system does not allow sufficient cooling when the ambient temp inside the vehicle is 80 degrees or less. The comfort must be attained by switching to manual and increasing the fan speed and dropping the temp to 60 for max cooling also changing the air to recirculate. This is lots of steps for such an expensive vehicle.
Is it good quality? Check. Does it have a durable design? Check. Does it use technology effectively? Check. Is its after-market value solid? Check. Is it practical? Check. Is it comfortable? Check. Is it fun to drive? Check. Is it fast? Check. Is it American-made? Check. Is it from a company that did not accept tax payer money and is not controlled by a socialist government that gave it to the marxist-progressive unions, such as GM and Chrysler? Check. This is my next car.

@USA4July1776 Couldn't have said it better myself. If someone gave me a GM or Chrysler car I would sell it and use the proceeds to get this car or another Honda. My Pilot has 180,000 miles on it and drives beautifully but I'm getting the itch for a new, smaller SUV. I drove an Edge and it's right on the money. The fact that it doesn't have the government's finger prints all over it is a major plus.
I own a new 2011 Ford Edge Sport on silver and I get compliments and/or questions about it even if I'm just going back and forth to the gas station.
