I 've just bought a new Bandit and still don't know when to change shifts...is it at 4000 in the tachometer? I still thinks its more...but then I don't want to push it too far being new and all.
its common for 17 year olds like myself to gte them co sthey are cheap and nice when restricted to 33BHP and thus alot of kids samsh 'em whilst poppin wheelies like my mate
does the s at the end of "gsf 650s" stand for sport? because i know that the bandit is not classed as a sport bike even with the half ferring it is still in the naked bike catergory. so if it is not sport (even if it is) could you tell me what it stands for?
The S stands for Sports... It's the small bit on the front, from the knies till the front around te frontlight.. that small bit makes it a sport,, I think it is because it is more stream-lined.. the A is the full naked bike, withouth the front pieace..

@tailwhisperer The biggest diffrence between the 650 and 650S are the front lights. The 650 has round lights (like a typical naked bike) and the 650S has frontlights like sport bikes. And I think the A stands for ABS, but im not sure. Also all of these bikes are naked, well none of them has a front/side cover on the engine, but the 650S is not a typical naked bike.

does the GSX-R models have ABS also? does anyone know? i understood that only Supersport from Honda and BMW have that braking system

Do they sell the Bandit 650s in the states? I've only seen the 1200's. A damn shame if they don't.
