The only problem with this is that, when you see through one of the drums from the bottom, it looks like there's no batter head. Aside from that, this is the most epic thing ever put on YouTube.
@TalentInTheRaw Actually Neil underwent some changes in his drumming. He is much more relaxed now because of his time with Freddy Gruber. Remember this... as Freddy puts it... it's a softshoe dance... you can make the sounds... but it's about the motion in the ocean. Making the sound becomes vertical, and that time of Neil going through the instructions and also playing with jazz tributes has loosened him up some.
@djgolfcan I don't know if he has... I do know he is on the internet as he blogs quite a bit on a site of his own. Perhaps if someone knows his site or is able to contact him, they could maybe pass the link to this along... let him see what a fan has come up with? I do know, however, he can be a very private person and was never too comfortable with the fact that he does have fans. (Myself included.)
@grevejp44 Give them time. They are just getting the handle of Facebook and such... Twitter is next I'm sure... and then Youtube won't be too far behind... I think once their next album comes out, you will see either a VEVO channel for Rush... or some sort of Official Rush channel. I will be waiting for it myself!
@bearmassaro by no means did I mean for that to come across as bitter or hateful. its an epic fucking video and kudos to the animator but god damn that must have taken fucking ages to render. just an observation man.
@coheedandcambria2009 Then my most sincere apologies are in order. You have to keep your guard up in here sometimes. The trolls just get to you after a while. And yes it must've taken quite some time to do. Amazing work nonetheless.
@Skaternick911 You know, I've been a big Rush fan since forever & I never knew what that meant. Figured it was justa working title that stuck. I kinda put it together at the begninning of this vid but thanx for clarifying that. Actually kinda cool...
why does everytime that shattering sound happens, lightening strikes and Neil Peart does not break the rhythm even when the sound goes off??? the sound is a symbol which he has to strike... so i do not think this animated video is very persise... =)
Dude, if you pay close attention to when he throws the drumstick up into the air. If you look real closely while he's playing right afterwards, the drumstick is upside-down. O.o
A 3D graphics animation of a Rush instrumental with ridiculous attention to detail and timing. A complete and utter Geek-Fest. (I absolutely love it!)
@Back2DaFuture98 this video is old. I first found it myself like at least 5 years ago, as a quicktime movie. It is likely older than that, made with something on a mac. I doubt very highly that the poster is the creator of this video.

Fun fact about YYZ...
YYZ is the airport code for Toronto Canada. If you ever travel to
Toronto, you'll notice the "YYZ" on your baggage ticket. The intro
to this song on the crotale is based on the letters Y Y Z in Morse
code. In Morse code, the letter Y is "-.--" (dash dot dash dash)
and the letter Z is "--.." (dash dash dot dot). Thus, YYZ becomes:
"-.---.----.." or"dash dot dash dash dash dot dash dash dash dash dot dot".
...amazing song, and no you all know an amazing fact :)
