The Garrett Gold Scorpion Stinger is not a good GOLD FINDER. Perhaps if they are gram plus nuggets. I have tested this machine with half gram nuggets I have found by panning. The barley get hits while laying on the surface. cover them with 4 inches of dirt and you don't get hits at all. Gold Bug 2 by Fisher is much better to find gold nuggets. It is all about the kilohertz. The stinger is 15 Kz. The Gold Bug 2 is 71 Kz.
I used to have a old Garrett. But I went with a new tesoro supertraq for the nugget hunting I live in gold country. I like Garrett. But from the LOBO Supertraq It's a great nugget detector plus a great coin and relic machine. Found great things from both. Tesoro #1 for the nugget hunting. A tie on the coin and relic hunting. Just my opinion. Great video!!!
For salt water and beaches try the Garrett Sea Hunter II. Surprisingly stable and deep and much less than the premium water detectors yet used by Fisher to find Atocha treasure.
i would say that the Beach Hunter is a good in-water detector. what about the spectra v3 from whits for out of the water seems to me its the best on the market right now
I'm pretty happy with my Garrett Ace 350.

@smammmm
no more then 30 cm
also all metal detector can not show more then 30 cm deep if the target is big
just OKM device work perfect for the deep cos they use radar and another system to detect abject under the ground
