I was on a ship in seas like that. Eventually you have to sleep. If you are lucky your watch is timed so that at that moment where you just can't keep going you go off watch. Pitty the relief watch. Then in your bunk you are airborn or thrown against a bulkhead most of the time. You think of your life in the hands of those jerkoffs in the starbord watch. Roll, pitch and yaw all ramdom, all at the same time. But, somehow eventually you go to sleep. And I mean sleep.
