  • amazing!!! i love this song sooo much

  • My favourite ... wonderful Charle's words with input from Johnny Hess !

  • @Arawak55 De ne pas être aussi chauvin ?

  • Sounds pretty modern for '36 visionary the piano solo at the beginning sounds sixties

  • Magnifique video et voix. Merci.

  • (...)

Vous qui passez sans me voir

    Sans même me dire bonsoir

  • I love French songs.

     I greet :)))

  • tres jolie

  • Il faut voir ¨¨gooses dancing Charles Trenet song¨¨ Wonderful video from 6061649

  • bellissima canzone

  • The French Bing Crosby-Frank Sinatra

  • Aznavour would be that one. But Jean was a great French crooner indeed.

  • @jacobsimon not so much sinatra;however, definitely straight from bing crosby', i heard that, at the end of "these foolish things" sablon threw in "thanks, bing"

  • love the singers pure voice and his handsome face. God Bless His sweet soul

  • I have no objection to posts about Tino Rossi but he was not a crooner . He was a light tenor with a great range of material from opera to the tango .

  • Yes, you're right. Thats why I put " " around the word crooner. Except for having a rather small voice his operatic singing is spectacular.

  • Hi, prabahkarann. Charles Trenet sings this song on the CD called L'Essentiel. I've ordered it but haven't received it yet.

  • does anybody have the same song but sung by monsieur charles trenet?

  • MIGHT DO

  • dont think its a very good version, if you want it I can perhaps send you it

  • Yes, please. I would appreciate anything you can send from Monsieur Trenet.

  • ok will look for it

  • Wonderful. I didn't think I was going to get any results searching for Jean Sablon ! My favorite singer :-) Thanks

  • Of all the "crooners" I have posted, Tino Rossi has got the biggest response. Thousands of hits compared to hundreds for the others. I guess I should post more of him.

  • I hadn't heard him doing this so early. I like the accompaniment better. Its wonderful. His voice sounds so fresh.

  • Merci once more. I'm right: the French "have a way," at least their language does. Very effective slowing down of rhythm towards the end to match the lyrics.

  • Crooning at its best... in French. Superb orchestration.
