such afun song. but wheneveri go to youtube, i cant helreading all the stupid mean comments and takes something away from thefun. y do i dodat wow my puter buttons have candy onem. sticky
Precinct is right about the artists not liking to lip-synch. This may have lead to the first music vid, as a replacement for a personal appearance; Queen said they would not have looked good miming the studio-created 'Bohemian Rhapsody' (they rarely if ever performed it live at their own concerts), et voila.
This was really cool video footage, but were they really lip-synching that badly? I mean when this show was aired, did the show really just replace the audio with the studio recording?
What is it with americans on youtube and their obsession with 'lip syncing'? Did you not have chart rundown TV shows in the US, where artists mimed to their hits?
Some artists were good at it and some didn't bother trying (they probably felt a bit silly)
I wouldn't say I have an 'obsession with 'lip syncing''. I have no problem with musicians promoting their records by lip-synching on TV shows. There's just something weird about this one in particular. I think it's that in other clips like one of "Do You Want To Hold Me", they play the record over the house sound system and you can hear the audience a little, but this one is just totally overdubbed.
THANK YOU. It's getting to the point where this bullcrap is turning up underneath videos by TALENTED artists from the 1970s and 1980s and I'm getting sick of it. If you want to debate about partial lip syncing, go back to your friggin Mariah Carey forum.

I was in the crowd for this being filmed. It was a school trip and I'm just to the right of the drummer. Haircut 100 were also there the same day!

@christyrrell1 ~ School trip?! I'm sooo jealous!

So what if this was mimed--you missed the point. Annabella was all about the visuals (though she CAN actually sing).
