I was a fearful kid, and I wanted to be this girl when I was a young girl- the girl who had the warehouse place. And her place!!- it was a dream to me!! i always wanted to re-find this movie- thank you for posting this.this girl stood for a dream
I have--okay, my dad has the soundtrack to this movie on vinyl. I'm 13 and I listen to it all the time. Is the movie any good? I know nothing about it...lol.
Never heard of this film until today and I was 16 and really into punk and New Wave and living in NYC, lol. I'll have to check it out looks like it's horrible though.Found out about it reading about a Danish Graceland opening up and a artist named Suzi Quatro cutting the ribbon, looked up her bio and she has a song in this film, and I saw Tim Curry's name so it looked interesting. Thanks again for posting the trailer.
@glycerinequeen73 yes, the songs in this film are excellent. i have the Times Square album on vinyl, and i bought it because of all the great bands/songs on it. but, i still have not seen the movie yet.
you said you can watch it over and over again, but aside from the good music, is the film itself just as good?? i've been curious to check it out for myself.
Saw it 3 times in the theater with a bunch of friends in 1980! We kept going back for the great music as we were all into punk and new wave at the time & everyone scored the double soundtrack album...Have still not seen this movie since..so Long Live the Sleaze Sisters!
1-10-2012. Sake's alive, sake's alive, look who's 45. Happy Birthday, Trini.

One of the few movies I could watch over and over again. It introduced me to many great songs and artists I did not know of previously.
