@candybrae1 Yes, she does....that was the "in" thing back in the 60's. But ladies did not wear much else, color wise. I recall my mom's false lashes and pale iridescent beige/pink lipstick. Heavy liquid liner on the upper lids, to hide the lash glue...and big, teased hair. I have always loved that look, myself ;~)

I have heard several covers of this song. An unlikely cover was by Foster and Allen, a superb version. Every cover I have heard has carried the feeling of melancolia. A good piece of writing, no one has managed to destroy it. Marianne's is my favourite!
