@Alakrit Fossilized footprints of tetra-pods were found in Poland dated at 397 million years old while Tiktaalik was dated at 383 million years old. How can this be a transition form if there were already land animals with a fully developed leg system? I'm sorry, I think this fossil proves nothing just like the rest of them. All it proves is that there was an animal like this alive at some point in history, and that's all it proves :)

Do you believe that any gradual process abrupty stops? Do you think a hill will erode a little bit, but 100,000 rainfalls won't erode it that much? Interviewing the uneducated prooves nothing. And who are these 'experts' who agree that Lucy was a chimp? With only lay knowledge, comparison of the bones rules that out. Being dishonest just because they can't tolerate another world view?!? If they have so much faith, why do they want to create a world in which faith is not necessary? Sorry to interupt the arguement but there's a book out there I think you should read. I can't remember what it's called but I'll check. It's by Dr. Medved (I hope I spelled his name right but oh well) anyway it's a book about how the Bible is correct when it comes to science. People just don't understand because there were alot of lost translations from the Hebrew language to English. And he prooves creationism. And actualy scientists have now found that primates couldn't have evolved to humans.
I respect ppls religious beliefs...be it Christianity, Islam, Buddhism, etc. (Just aslong as you do not impose your beliefs on me or my (future) children) :)

But the process of evolution is easily seen regardless of which step it is in when it comes to bacteria. Yes they adapted to their surroundings, and yes they are still like their forefathers. They will follow the final steps and become more like nylon eating bacteria than their previous state. Adaptation is but one step of evolution, they adapt they survive, genetic change happens

@Alakrit Fossilized footprints of tetra-pods were found in Poland dated at 397 million years old while Tiktaalik was dated at 383 million years old. How can this be a transition form if there were already land animals with a fully developed leg system? I'm sorry, I think this fossil proves nothing just like the rest of them. All it proves is that there was an animal like this alive at some point in history, and that's all it proves :)

He was also a translator for parts of the bible, and whatever Eusebius' interpretation for any words were are now considered "god's" word. (I'm using him as an example, not attacking him)

Unfortunatley the problem most people run into is that fact that although we are using the same words, they often have different meanings.
All change is NOT evolution. Most Christians fully believe in specialization of species. What we DON'T believe is that one TYPE of animal evolves into another TYPE of animal.
There are no examples of these "transitional forms". This was a real problem until the theory was changed to say the change happened so quickly it wasn't fossilized.

This is shocking. There is tonnes and tonnes of evidence for evolution . Denying the theory of evolution is like denying the theory of gravity . I find it funny how they ask students who are not evolutionary scientists. Whats the grand Christian alternative . An eternal god that just happened to be there created the whole universe for the soul purpose of testing the morality of one species on this small planet and to send them to heaven or hell. Pffft plz

What proof do you have for evolution? If you asked any scientist and if he/she was honest, they would say that there is no plausible evidence for evolution. And even if there is, how did it all come about? Did something come from nothing? That would mean science would be contradicting itself.

The proof for evolution is that it is backed up by testable scientific evidence. thousands and thousands of fossils.DNA similarities that are so similar that only an idiot could argue that we do not share a comman ancestor with the chimp.And as for the second part something coming from nothing thats getting into abiogenisis. evolution does not tap into the supernatural because it cannot be observed.

Part 2:abiogenisis does teach small beginnings though . simple chemicals attracting turning into more complex things then life forming in simple forms then gradually becoming more complicated. What kirk and ray do is not science in the slightest . they assume they have the 100 percent truth written in a book . they base their perfect knowledge on the book of genesis. one of the barbaric books of the old testament. this is not science.

I have read the bible i own 2 types, i just cant memorize it word for word. It would take a huge team of men to build an ark to house all the species in the world. Apart from that it would be impossible . Also you diddnt answer the problem of feeding all the species .Certain animals need certain weather conditions and diets. this couldn't happen they would all die out or go insane .

I can accept history that doesn't contradict other history etc and that can be cross referenced. The bible is not history .all Egyption records don't mention anything about the pyramids being built through Hebrew slave labour. Also the bible talks of things like talking snakes and donkeys etc a person living in a whale.Dead people coming back to life. These things are all impossible. Logic prevails things like that. I'm a Christian. Trying to be fair w/regards to the above vid, I think two things are both true:
1) Christians can be fairly criticized for a number of poor arguments on this difficult issue, & I often cringe, BUT . . .
2) Non-Christians should not be so quick or self-righteous in their ridicule of believers on this matter, b/c obviously the vast majority of them don't have a clue what they're talking about! Just listen -- they are no more informed than those that they mock!

There are countless people who have faith in Genesis, but because they understand the nature of faith, they do not find it unfair that others believe differently. Only the FAITHLESS would decide to have a faith-based belief and find it unfair that THE REST OF THE WORLD doesn't shut up. This is the very definition of faithlessness. The truly faithful need not debate OR resent, and certainly not resort to dishonesty to eliminate a threat. Real faith could do that without the need to stifle others.

Sorry to interupt the arguement but there's a book out there I think you should read. I can't remember what it's called but I'll check. It's by Dr. Medved (I hope I spelled his name right but oh well) anyway it's a book about how the Bible is correct when it comes to science. People just don't understand because there were alot of lost translations from the Hebrew language to English. And he prooves creationism. And actualy scientists have now found that primates couldn't have evolved to humans.

I respect ppls religious beliefs...be it Christianity, Islam, Buddhism, etc. (Just aslong as you do not impose your beliefs on me or my (future) children) :)
However to basically compare science w/ religion makes no sense.
Religion takes belief in something that can never be proven...its not testable. Science is not a religion. Its simply about truth & knowledge in our world.
I'm sorry, but I could never believe in any religion that completely disregards what is obviously true. ☮ :D
