he went to orlando in the first round but had some pretty bad knee problems and had surgery. he hesnt been the same since and hasnt been able to get back into the rotation. he has requested a trade which could possibly rejuvenate his career. i hope he does. i enjoyed watching him play in college, he is a phenomenal shooter.

they were hating on him back in h.s. at cave spring I seen him play on aau teams in tha state of Va and they were hating on him then and people in his own city (Roanoke Va) well Unc fans said he wouldnt start at Duke but he became the all time Acc points scorer and thats whats up

Hey...JJ is a man, able to play in the man's game. He's a great B-ball player. Why do you guys always blame him. I'm not a Duke fan, i still like JJ. So. stop insulting him, or insult him correctly. I can just say...he is not yet a star in NBA. But he will, at least he's adapting in this man's game bit by bit. Look at his career-high 18-point game, he showed some long-range shooting. If he got more playin' time, he will be a great shooter, i promise.

I dont think most people realize how hard it is to become as good a shooter as he is. He would spend every spare moment he got shooting. Its hard work, and most great, hard working basketball players do not get to the NBA. You have to be tall/very athletic. Many people work very hard on their game too, but because they lack size or athletic ability, don't even play D1. Dont say college aint a mans game.
