Typical of Phoenix. Knocking down the QWEST building in order to build a retirement home. That city is constantly losing good paying jobs in order to make room for retirees. No good jobs = cheap labor. That's their plan. What a pathetic excuse for a city...
I am really getting tired of these comments. Qwest just moved to a bigger building a few blocks away (SIX YEARS AGO), which means MORE jobs. To top it off, this retirement complex is going to be a luxury complex with restaurants, a full service gym, 24-hour concierge service, and around the clock care- JOBS. These rich retirees (who will buy $600k-$2M condos) will spend their money at the shops in Phoenix and use the light rail to get to the shops, which keeps the light rail workers employed
Took more than two years for the dirtbag property owners to finally clear away all of the rubble from this demolition. Thanks, Joe Pincineault.
