I really love this couple, especially because it makes so much sense! Sweden and Norway always had a strong relation in the history. Love his video very much <3
I think the Norwegian is singing in a Northern Rogaland or Southern Hordaland dialect, since it contains aspects from both of the regions' major dialects. More likely Rogaland though, due to the long, hard guttural R's instead of the shorter Hordaland ones.
It's nice to see a video of this rare pairing because it's so difficult to find anything dedicated to this pairing at all.
And hey, more SuNor fans around! Sure I ship DenNor but I'm not a big fan of SuFin or NorIce. I used to like SuFin a lot but I only adore brotherly love between Nor and Ice.
Thanks for the awesome video. You have bestowed upon us (very few) SuNor fans a great gift!
I'm so glad to see more people who ship SweNor! I've always liked this pairing, though perhaps not as much as DenNor and SweFin, but none the less! It's historically accurate in my book. Lovely video and thanks very much for the English translation! :D
@Brienna82 It is Norwegian :D But with a dialect (that is kinda Nynorsk-ish)
I think it is mostly spoken in west-Norway ^__^ *is from Norway* Oh and btw, I think it is very diffrent from Danish. Danish is more soft and "sloppy" (like they have a potato stuck in their throat) xD
Even if I don't really ship this pairing (yes, I'm one of those boring fangirls who love SuFin and DenNor) I have to say I love this vid, it's very well put together. I love the song too. I'm cool with any Nordic pairing, actually. <3
DANE DOES NOT APPROVE
aha, jk xD I love this. 83

@HojoOSanagi
Well, Vidar Johnsen was born in Haugesund (northern part of Rogaland), so it's natural that that's the accent.

and on a music note, it sounds more like danish than norwegian to me >.> (is Swedish herself)
hmm.. although you just said the other singer was Norwegian.. not that it was sung in the same language... nvm me if i'm mistaken XP

@Solhuset the problem is that the Norwegian singer's 'r's are like French 'r's, not the _real_ Norwegian 'r's which are rolled. P:
