this area was debunked by the show "Faked or Fiction". They did a land survey and surprise....it's actually a downhill slope, an optical illusion. As for the saccident it happened 100 mi away in utah. For those of you who have tried this and got fingerprints........did you clean your trunk off before you put on powder? If no then your probably getting old prints, not new. Clean your trunk with windex then try it & see what happens.

@7150285 I'm sure that it was reported to other cities, but as for why the tracks in San Antonio were accused of being haunted, I'm not really sure why. Possibly for a number of reasons. I'm assuming one reason might be because of the misreading of the newspaper that reported the tragedy. Another reason may be from the optical allusion of the Shane Rd. itself, as it appears to be going uphill instead of downhill.

There is no magnetic field. I went there this Saturday at 2:00AM and I didn't believe the whole "kids died in the school bus and haunt these tracks... helping who ever stops before them by pushing them over the tracks to safety," thing. We did it at least 8 or 9 times to prove every thought or doubt I had wrong. We even laid old quarters next to the track to see if anything got pulled while we were going forward and it didn't move.

When I walked behind the truck with a flash light to see what was going on, the truck got pushed up the track's ramp but it stopped dead center of the tracks. When we pulled to the right and parked to look at what we could find, there was a smiley face drawn directly above the license plate. This changed a non believer (me) into a serious believer. Freaky sh*t! No joke!

I'm watching a show on TV where they went and tested this, at this place. Think they even used your video. They took some measurements and calculated that it is going downhill. Anyway, if you could go back, bring a bottle of watter, put it on the ground see if it rolls. Than poor the water out and see if it drains.
I dont think its magnetically pulled because then it would stop on the tracks and even if it stopped on the tracks weight doesnt matter. It would still get pulled towards the track. And if it did it would increase in speed. I do believe however that when you stick a vehicle in drive it pulls itself. That is true. And probably the reason for the pull in this case.

The video is real but it is not ghosts. Just saw a show about this on TV. A surveying came out and proved that it is a downward slope. Don't believe it. next time you're there, bring a ball and set it on the ground and watch it roll toward the tracks. There was a bus hit by a train but it wasn't even in San Antonio. Glad to see some people here know the facts. I really wanted to believe this when I first heard about it 10yrs ago or so. Just shows how important research is.

Okay, listen very closely YouTubers. The San Antonio, Tx racks are NOT HAUNTED!!! Let me clarify this, the legend goes that decades ago, a bus load of children got killed when their bus got hit by an on coming train. Now, such a tragedy did happen at the supposed time; but not in San Antonio, Texas. The actual event happen in Salt Lake City, Utah; the San Antonio paper just reported the tragedy to the residents of San Antonio.

@GeorgiaGirl93 I used to live there on Nancy Carole back in 1977 - 1987..& YOU ARE RIGHT! the real story occurred in Salt Lake City & the street names were named from the McCreless family's grandchildren who also owned the former McCreless Mall in S.A. I used to play there all the time as a kid...I was sad when I first moved there because I love ghost...but after we were told the story..it was just another day.

@7150285 I'm sure that it was reported to other cities, but as for why the tracks in San Antonio were accused of being haunted, I'm not really sure why. Possibly for a number of reasons. I'm assuming one reason might be because of the misreading of the newspaper that reported the tragedy. Another reason may be from the optical allusion of the Shane Rd. itself, as it appears to be going uphill instead of downhill.

@Nabiboss Okay, I know that the car was in neutral, BUT it was actually rolling down hill!!! That slope is an optical illusion. If you don't believe me, go to the tracks yourself, place a water bottle where you normally start the car, and see which direction it rolls it. IT WILL ALWAYS ROLL TOWARD THE TRACKS!!!!!!

This myth has been discredited so many times. The hill is going down. There's an optical illusion in effect that makes it appear to be going down. Then when people sprinkle some kind of powder on thier trunk, it's just exposing the latent hand prints that you left on your car. Not ghost children pushing your car.

There is no magnetic field. I went there this Saturday at 2:00AM and I didn't believe the whole "kids died in the school bus and haunt these tracks... helping who ever stops before them by pushing them over the tracks to safety," thing. We did it at least 8 or 9 times to prove every thought or doubt I had wrong. We even laid old quarters next to the track to see if anything got pulled while we were going forward and it didn't move.

@cgarcia0524 We made sure and wiped all of the finger prints/hand prints off before we went each time. When I walked behind the truck with a flash light to see what was going on, the truck got pushed up the track's ramp but it stopped dead center of the tracks. When we pulled to the right and parked to look at what we could find, there was a smiley face drawn directly above the license plate. This changed a non believer (me) into a serious believer. Freaky sh*t! No joke!

hey guys i dont know if u really know about the railroads.. but they all have magnetics..thats how the train also helps it to stay on the tracks.. if u have a car or truck close to it .. it will suck u in and then with the same motion u will have a bit of spped to get out the way.. if it was ghost alike maybe try it to put it on park and if u hear bangs on the car then theres something different than, thanks just so u can know..

this is a phenomena not unique to these trakcs. i witnessed the same thing in lebanon. not sure what it is but i belive it has something to do with the angle of the overwhelming majority of the land and us not noticing it, i gotta look into it though

I'm watching a show on TV where they went and tested this, at this place. Think they even used your video. They took some measurements and calculated that it is going downhill. Anyway, if you could go back, bring a bottle of watter, put it on the ground see if it rolls. Than poor the water out and see if it drains.

I dont think its magnetically pulled because then it would stop on the tracks and even if it stopped on the tracks weight doesnt matter. It would still get pulled towards the track. And if it did it would increase in speed. I do believe however that when you stick a vehicle in drive it pulls itself. That is true. And probably the reason for the pull in this case.

i know the story behind this i read it from ghosts 4 dummies. There was a school bus stalled out full of kids on the tracks. Train plows into it. And the kids push other cars across the tracks to make sure that wont happen again.

i know that threr was a train that hit a school bus full of childern when the bus got stuck on a hill and now ppl say thay that if you go to that same place in you car its almost like being pushed but nobodys there ppl put flour on there there back bumper and after they cross the tracks theres small hand prints on there they say that its the ghosts of the children that where in the bus pushing the cars making sure no one else gets stuck on the tracks like they did!!!
