wow, so this song was definitely in my dream a few minutes ago. i won't get into the details of what was in it, but it's weird because i didn't even know this song existed. i just kept hearing her sing "sometimes" (same beat as the song) then woke up and youtubed it.

I bought baduizm on tape when it first came out, I knew what I was buying and was amazed at how good the price was when I went to buy it. I was at a low at the time and it made me look at life in a better way, as in take the rough with the smooth. I think I almost lost that at some point, but here it is. I see this as a song about all the commercialism RnB got turned into by the late 90s when Major labels like Sony were pimping it & watering it down to a Pop style for the masses, where the ethic was about how many units a song sold as a product rather than it being about the art & soul of making good music
