ive been through this whole debate before, if u think ur cars fast, odds are good you have 11th or 12th gen tbird, v6s aside, the v8s made something like 200-250 hp and 275-315ftlbs torque from 86-96, the car weighed 3700 lbs, corvette base models in 86 made 230hp-330ftlb, by 96 they put out 330-350 and weighed about 600 lbs less. just for the record, if gm does go under my cars going to run just the same, but dont get me wrong tbirds are great... if you need to go get some groceries

it really depends how fast he was going when he wrecked, if the guys going 100 theres going to be some damage, if he was racing with it then he should have had a rollcage, and same for any car. as far as i know they never went 200 back then but in 85 callaway built the corvette sledgehammer and that went 254, since we arent talking about production cars at least, because only 12 gt40s were made back then, but maybe in need for speed they go that fast i dunno
