This is one of the best short movies I have ever seen, even when putting aside my love for dragons. For a one person project, this is incredibly good! You do have the talent, and that's what I cannot say as much as I'd like to! Excellent characters, very good animation and perfect music really are the soul and the spirit of this animated movie! I hope you never lose your fire for this kind of art. As Wrestlemaniac 829 said, this would be an excellent long animated movie! Instant watch!

@jawayetti It was just my thesis film -- thesis only because it's the last thing that seniors are required to produce to graduate. There was no theme really, we just got to do what we wanted, within reason. My project was not within reason, however (there was a 5min limit haha) Things turned out okay though. :)

This was an awesome movie, even for a short film. Seriously, this could have the makings of possibly the best animated feature-length film we have ever seen. Possibly even better than "9" and that started out as a short animated film too! I see potential in this Chrisman, and possibly a future nominee for Best Animated Feature if done correctly. With the same strong story and strong characters like the ones featured, this could go all the way to greatness. Wonderful job.

Wonderful work. Thank you so much... I just wish there was another ending, with murdered baby dragon resurrected, rather than replaced by the very scoundrel who murdered him. It would be very difficult for any mother to look at the "new" baby and remembering that awful blood-filled cave, where her true child lost his innocent life :( Any way, thank you very much for drawing attention to the fate of almost any dragon in mass culture.

I feel sorry for the knight. Personally, I think the ending was pretty bad, If he had touched the stone or something knowing he would turn into a dragon it would have been better, but it seemed he was sort of forced to become the female dragon's child almost unwillingly. (I think he wanted to become killed when he bowed to her) Other than that great animation and everything I really enjoyed it.

I love the whole art style, the dragons were so cute!

even though the guy killed the baby dragon, I felt sorry for him at the end, he has probably been searching for her, and when he finally sees her again, she's fallen for someone else. There was no clear-cut 'bad guy' in this film, all of the characters had their own motivations and personalities.
