  • or you can switch it to reverse and give it gas..

  • What is the blue Sea Doo it does the brake test against? I drove that model and i loved it and i would like to find out what it was so i can get one :D

  • cool

  • LOL Sean Kingston should've used this.

  • RXT 260. 15 hours of use. WATER BRAKE RULES!!!!!!!!!!! sport mode + huge wake off a boat= WIN

  • Reverse thrust, just like the airplanes

  • Ok. All you people that bitch. For the initial person who started this. You complain about four strokes and all you can work on are two strokes. That right there shows your ignorance. What do valves and cams confuse you. And those that say that's stupid and all this shit. If you don't like the fuckin thing don't get it. I personally think it is an ingenious idea and I'm sure it gonna make first timers and those concerned with safety finally get one. You know some ppl have never road one. Person

  • Breaks? Reverse? 4 STROKES!?!? does any one remember when Seadoos and jet skis were meant to be ridden like a flipping jet ski? If I wanted a heavy ass boat then I would buy a damn boat. You guys keep your heavy very un-simple to work on 2 seater BOATS. I'm gonna stick with my 3 two strokes and ride them like a jet ski. And hey..... If they break then MY ass will fix them while you 4 strokers HAVE to take yours to a trained tech.

  • nice footage!

  • you dont need a brake thats why they have reverse.

  • Im looking for a Sea Doo XP 800, in the under $1000 range, please contact if you have one you are looking to sell.

  • yea.... but it would be nice for when you have guests this way they won't run into the diveing platform

  • Awww i love my sea-doo

    they aree too muchhh funn

  • I own one of these with the IBR 2010 Wake Pro 215 and it is already in the shop because it DOESNT work and more and only 5 hours on the unit!!!

  • these things have been out for like 30 years, and they just invented the break

  • Actually, factory race teams have used "clutch lever" activated trim tabs for years, that is where this comes from. The trim tabs plant the hull in the water to start a corner. You cannot do very good fish hook turns while up on plane, using 1/10 of the hull surface area. This however, is stupid! This is like back up cameras and turning headlights, more bullshit for ignorant yuppies that have no respect for anything or anyone but themselves. I have an idea, it's called LEARN TO DRIVE!!!!

  • my friend gets free seadoos because of his dad

  • if you need brakes you shouldnt be riding a seadoo...

  • there good for getting people wet

  • @585balla its safer...

  • @585balla Unless due to an unforeseen circumstance there is something in the water ahead of you and it saves your life...

  • @585balla how bout this - SEA DOO'S are so fast, that you need a brake!

  • @585balla If you're too close minded for technology you shouldn't be riding anything.

  • how much do they cost?

  • this is good, taking making it so it takes even less skill to drive. does anyone remember stand ups started this whole thing?

  • Intelligent control means controlled by the micro chip not the rider.

    That's scary.

It would make more sense to just make a rear strap around the back that can deploy and act as a water dam thus increasing drag like an underwater parachute. I invented it. Now give me one million dollars!

    Where's Mr.Bigglesworth my cat?

  • @bucktheusa yeah, come Mr.Bigglesworth...

  • I saw the commercial for this

  • The brakes are they disc? You can't beat the water. No speed limit, traffic jams, stop signs, radar, licenses, age limit or insurance.

  • Too bad the motor will seize up since it is a Sea Doo. But hey, at least it HAD some nice features. I prefer my Honda.

  • cool but almost pointless

  • @ungaownzu

Agreed, if you are lessoned in performance driving you will be taut that turning and mashing the throttle will stop you a lot faster than putting it in reverse!

This is nice to use at the dock for beginners though...

  • Water and me, we sea-doo agree!!!

  • ahh, sea- doo stealing patents for o.p.a.s , hull suspension and braking system for the past 20 years. They DID NOT come up with the ideas but stole them off of common folk.

One man and his ideas/ innovations can not win over a powerful corporation. sadly

  • You slow down pretty fast when you haven't got the throttle on anyway!

  • @AdrianDHcove Yeah, and im worried this slows down too fast, and you almost fly off the top.....probably not but still....my seadoo has reverse, just not a brake system.

  • @KrOmEiFiCaTiOn They have it set up so that won't happen, I have driven one of these before and it is a really nice insurance piece since sea doo's aren't very heavy and don't stop as fast as a boat and you can either lightly press the brake and you slowly slow down or you can mash on the brake and the nose only dives a littled but you feel in control the whole time.

  • @CamsStuff Oh, well that's cool.

  • like the bucket system on the navy soc-r

  • having personally ran my older model seadoo ontop my floating dock on multiple occasions, i will definaely look into this! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

  • I've got two of these beast, these babies are invincible, theve got the coolest freaking features, everything from exact degree measures, cruise control, different acceleration modes, cool new storage areas, everything, once you ride this you will never want to ride any other one!!!!!!!! I love seadoo.

  • They Need to worry about making these things more affordable & less sophisticated, theyre suppose to be fun machines, NOT CARS!

  • CANADIAN COMPANY

  • hey to bad no one can offerd these haha

  • @skateemerica134 they're not that expensive.

  • @Apollo580 do you know how much?

  • i can do the same thing and do a stoppie with my 900st by flipping it into reverse while driving... wase of time imo. all these things are turning into is bigger and bigger couches. bring back the 1 and two seaters

and the old cafe racers had those but with a paddle that shot out and down from the rideplate.

they are not the first to make a brake.. but the first to do it with a reverse bucket.

  • brp rox

  • just one more thing to break on the sea poo

  • You're seriously complaining about a new safety feature they've included on their sea doo's because its one more thing that has a slight possibility to break?

By that logic lets get rid of breaks on cars too, and seat belts and airbags, less things to break right? must make the car better...

  • @cjwalsh7

It's only a "safety" feature because BRP is marketing it as one. It contributes no more control over the watercraft than a diligent driver is supposed to. In addition, engine damage can occur if this maneuver is repeatedly used from a high throttle setting. Yes, this can break itself and other components. Operators' reckless use of the reverse gate led BRP to install a throttle stop on their sport boats. So now they remove restrictions on the more dangerous craft, and charge for it.

  • ok lets think about this. lets put a very sofisticated option on a sea poo, so it has one more expensive thing to break

  • So I can just put my ski in reverse = brake , simple

Docking a pwc is like the easiest thing ever

  • but when ur going 100km/h and u but in in reverse u will damage ur engine

  • More likely damage my reverse bucket then the engine.

  • @2rowanS Thats why it uses intelligent engine control to control engine RPM for different situations.

  • WOW a reverse throttle .............. so amazing

u gona tell me they didnt have anything bettet to do :S

  • Its still a Sea-doo

  • the sea ahit

  • wooow!!! I've got a seadoo gti... look my video: BOMBA LAKE 2008
