i am not trying to be obnoxious or anything here and I ask in all sincerity, why is it such a big deal that people are hunting whales? People slaughter cows and pigs and chickens all the time and no one complains about that. What makes killing whales different than killing cows? If whale hunting is seen as immoral, then so is killing other animals for food. Again, im not trying to be a jackass, im just asking.
Well, killing other animals for food isn't ok either. But there are some people that I have to call hypocrites, because they aren't used to killing whales, so like dogs and cats they see their lives as more valuable than that of, say, a chicken or cow.
fortunately there is a minority of us who are speaking against killing ANY animal for food, but with billions of people out there who are addicted to animal meat, it's going to be hard to change.
well, whales are like extremely endangered :/ if cows and pics and chickens were endangered, we probably would be killing them. that's at least how i see it.
@wtficntfindaname28 well for one cows and chickens are NOT endangered. PLUS cows, chickens and pigs are BREED to be slaughtered... we have a certain breed that we eat...whales are NOT bred to be eaten... so when you kill them,their population goes down,as chickens etc,does not go down

By the way, BlueVoice, it wasn't shown in this video that there was any proof that Japan intends on killing whales.
