the only reason it sounded like full clear words is because you read his lyric while you were listening to it. If you had listened to it without reading his interpretation at first it wouldn't have sounded the same to you. It's impossible to write a song that both makes sense reversed and in the normal way.

it is possible in languages with a one-to-one correspondence between speling and pronunciation (e.g. spanish). you just write a palyndrome song

That was a pretty clear interpretation. I heard most of what you wrote too. In Buddhism it has long been known that there are messages in our speech that come from our thoughts and intent. It is old news but we found it again!
