Be careful with these headphones. They can be the best thing ever, or can be the worst. The fit is the reason why. The medium size is too small for me, the large is too large for me. -_- Also, the cord control is a pain in the ass. This is the worst cord design I've ever seen. Each little movement, and you hear everything. It annoyed the hell out of me, until I got a turtle shell cord wrapper of course. The weight of it made it fit well in my ears, and there also wasn't as much cord sound
I have a small left eardrum so finding in ear earphones that were comfortable was hard for me. I wen't through a few brands and they were all uncomfortable to some extent. These however surprised me greatly, and the only thing that surprised me more then the comfort was the great sound quality! Plus great noise isolation. Superb headphones.
i am loving these earbuds, i have only ever used the 20 dollar ones and i decided to get some nice ones. You can definatley hear the different parts of each track, ex. bass guitar, vocals, lead guitar, drums. and the bass is very clear and rich especially when compared with the crappy cheap ones. On cnet the review said might not be comfortable but i totally disagree they are shaped to sit in the ear canal easily and securely allowing hours of listening without pain others would have. Worth it.
hey everyone. i'm debating between buying these earbuds or skullcandy FMJ's. i have had FMJ's for a long time but they always break after about a year. can someone help?
@iomoo not sure if this is too late for a reply, but these phones would beat the skullcandy hands down. Just an over all much clearer sound with cleaner punchier bass.
Klipsch S4 definitely worth the money. I love it. Sound is clear and solid. Heaps better than Ipod or iphone original. And much better than my $80 Sennheiser. I am saving up for Upper market heads like Shure or Westone. yeeha.
the S4 is ace except for one thing: the cables. damn they are loud when they hit ya jacket or whatever when you are on the move. I hope there will be an updated version with "braided?" cables so they keep quiet. quality-wise they are the best in the price class from all earplugs I've tried so far.
Man i want my money back or either new ones because mine suck i think because they son't sound fantastic like Cnet says and what every one says they sound the same as my ipod ones so i bot them for nothing either they suck or mines just came out wrong.
Could anyone tell me what to do or if i could get my money back or if klipsch could send me new ones or what? because im mad they sound reguar wich is bad
@IvanRod182 This might be old, but most importantly make sure you are getting a proper seal with the ear tips. If it doesn't seal correctly, they will be lacking in bass and clarity. Once you get a good seal it should sound a lot better.
PLEASE reply i was wondering if i should get these or the turbine pros i need a new pair of headphones now and as you can see my price range is very high so if there are an other suggestions please reply........
@bowlofdeath35 TURBINE PROS they are AMAZING and if you look up that snazzy iphone guys review on them i think u will be sure that you should get them
oh nice within 25 days of mild usage and extreme care the thin wire of the headphone has already started to chip and exposing the inside thin metal wires. apple store won't take the return as it has been over 14 days. so much for the hyped low price and the review cnet. these are all marketing tactics.
The S4's are waaay better than my v-moda vibes. The vibes are simply horrible, I will never trust that company again. I loved their sound, even more than my S4's (which are very good too), but the build quality is inexistent. I replaced then 4 times and every time the connector plug ruined my headphones. The S4's, which have a cheaper build, are much more durable. 1$ earphones are more durable than v-modas. Never buy from them!
Yeah aacme I had v-moda vibes. In fact, I just bought these S4's because my v-moda's finally gave out. That said, I had them for almost 3 years, and they produced a fantastic sound. While the cable did have a pretty horrible design (it came loose and had wires showing) a little bit of super glue fixed that. The sound has stopped coming out of the left earphone now though so I'm getting a new pair. Can't wait for my S4's to arrive :D
Yes, I tried super glue. I also used it with the 45* degree plug. It made them last about twice their probable real life. It's the worst build wuality I have ever seen on anything anywhere - never have I seen a worse scam. I will never buy off thet company again - I will just stick to my reliable S4's. If it says v-moda, avoid it.
I got min on Ebay last month. They are worth finding or waiting. TRUST me I have tried earbuds from $19- $500 for the past 3 years and these are the best ones EVER! I cannot believe they are only $79
Klpsch headphones sound great. i have 2 pairs of the top of the line image. But forget about registering them online, pointless. If you have a problem you have to send them original reciepts. They offer you free set of bud to regisetr them onine. You will never get them.
We do require proof of purchase from an authorized dealer for warranty claims, that is true.

Cable management is key. Get a clip on or a light cable winder. It does the trick.

Ah I knew Amy was hiding on YouTube !
Well I congratulate Klipsch on a great product, I have now the S4, X10 and Custom 3's. Great products.
Just one thing...JUST AS THE ARTIST INTENDED...the damn artist did not intend most people to use mediocre stock iPod headphones. :P

Do the S4's and the S4i have the exact same quality of sound?
hajtko 2 years ago
Yes, they are exactly the same, except for the headset features of the S4i.

while Klipsch may or may not be good for you. one headphone to truly take you out of this stressed full world is Shure SE 530. Magic, seriously.

The Shures are 5 times the price!! Of course they're going to be better
