have to say i disagree with his assertion that individual rights come from god at birth. it's not unlike GWB saying freedom for the iraqis is a gift from god. liberty, freedom, human rights,...all of them are constructs of law created by human beings, not presents from a different kind of magic santa claus in the sky. it's laws that ultimately make us accountable to other human beings for our behaviour, not some kind of inherent sense of humanity that comes as a gift from a non-human deity.

Ron Paul did not vote against impeachment. Like any great moderator he moved the bill to where it needed to be, the house judiciary committee. There were also problems within the bill, details that couldn't be overlooked. It's being reviewed by whom it should have been reviewed in the first place.
