  • As i grew up in this era of music ...this and fanfare are pieces of history in rock and roll.

    This band are geniuses

  • this is jaw dropping

  • Meric!

  • I wish there was more of this. At the beginning of this video, it looks like they were just finishing up "Show me the way to go home". I would LOVE to see Greg Lake sing that live!

  • Music transcends hockey BS. Especially music this good. Two of my favorites, Tchaikovsky and Emerson Lake and Palmer.

  • @boomboomdrums

Are you kidding? Nothing transcends hockey in Montreal. ;)

  • I'm surprised they didn't get booed off of the stage. Nutrocker was the Boston Bruins theme music back in the day. LOL

  • @Relayer6a Actually it was The Ventures Nutty, though NutRocker and some other songs are close

  • @ASHole71

Well, I moved from the Boston area in '75. My memory could be a bit off on it. Sure sounds the same though.

  • @ASHole71 Well, both "Nutrocker" and"Nutty" are similar variations on Tchaikovsky's "March of the Toy Soldiers" from the "Nutcracker" ballet.

  • The sheer adrenalin rush! Woohoo! Happy Holidays everyone!

  • 最高日本とイギルス

  • 最高エELP

  • They actually played this real just as they were so pissed with each other. Makes it kinda good.

  • @Kenentigern7 Were they mad at each other? You can't tell. I always wondered if there was any animosity on Keith Emerson's part towards Greg Lake. Carl Palmer just kinda seems like a go with the flow kind of guy who never gets upset.

  • @TheBellaemmamom I read Keith's autobiography. Greg and Keith were mad at each other all the time. When they wern't they were having fun. The reason why they got pissed at eachother on nutrocker is because in a 1970 concert the audience wanted more after they finished (a concert) so Keith and Carl suggested they play nutrocker but greg was to bitchy and said no. But they went out and did it anyway. Then backstage they had a big fight (they were all drunk. Keith even broke a glass wine bottle!

  • Kieth Emerson is an amazing keyboardist!
