  • Fantastic! barrettclassicalguitars.co.uk

  • She really slowed down the BWV 1006 prelude. She used to blaze that piece in her younger days.

  • Ana Vidovic is a blessing to guitarist and music lovers everywhere. What a humble down to earth personality as well as wonderful inspiring talent!

  • I am really suprised to find out she uses PMI for tremolo. Is any one aware of other world class guitarists using PMI for tremolo? Very unorthodox, but I guess it works for her.

  • man there is no way i would ever use P-I-M-I for tremolo. but it works for her and it sounds great so i say have at it :D

  • I think I'm in love

  • Dear Santa..

  • I would like to marry her next sunday.

  • @guitarespiration haha, in Croatia we get married on saturdays!

  • @iga123s No problem.I could marry her even if it was Monday!hahaha!!!However ,I have to say that girls from Croatia are very lovely. (-:

  • That guitar is LOUD I though it was amplified!!

  • @Dragonforce55kid She uses a redgate guitar the best of the best.

  • She resemble someone, but I forgot the name.

  • @joz312 gail simmons from top chef?

  • Her arrangement of "Yesterday" is one of the most beautiful pieces of music I have EVER heard.

  • IMHO, the greatest guitarist possibly of all time.

  • so annoyiing "okay okay yes good okay" uugh

  • bravissima Ana ....... devo dire che sei anche molto bella ciao Dome.....

  • I can't get pass the many interruption the interviewer makes.

  • SHE PLAYS BEAUTIFUL SONGS BEAUTIFUL WOMAN

  • which piece is she playing starting at min 3:56¨?¨?

    can someone tell me¨?¨? please

  • @kafkaMt

Bourrée from Bach Partita in E major (BWV 1006a)

  • @metaskok thank you!

  • WHATS THAT SECOND SONG SHE PLAYED!!!!!????

  • @yorTryzz version o yesterday vbeatles

  • pmim is harder in my opinion, you have to have great speed, which is probably gained from playing at an early age i guess (like paco's insane shred); I get a really good tremolo using 3 fingers or even 4 depending on the case. Its difficult to get the consistency in pitch using more fingers, but sounds amazing to me, but i'm self taught in classical, so i'm probably wrong :D

  • @SerbKangsta thats ok if you are self taught, but the trick is realy is harder keep consistent sound on pami fingers rather than pmim, in way pami is easier you are right because you have probably first taught pami and then you was learning pmim but that just matter of practice to get habit. But have look at other masters on concerts there is no use of pmim. as a trying for different techniques to practice is no question. a good one.and about paco pena, he came from totaly different background

  • she rules on classical guitar

  • This makes me realize just how good I'm not!

  • @jdhed1 we all know that feel bro

  • @jdhed1 aaaaaaaaaaah we can do anything except think that she is some supergirl

  • beautiful

  • right hand on recuerdos de la alhambra is a bit wrong pmim and have to be pami :D

  • @tammas789

That's not true. P - thumb, I - index f., M - middle f., A - ring f. She said that you can play the tremolo part with ami fingers or mim fingers and she plays it with mim. Sorry, but I don't see you point here...

  • @AhavaRabboh meant way as it was written down on music sheet just look how it is playing for example john williams :D i know that tremeolo pmim is much more easier that's the point

  • Beautiful playing and wonderful face of angel. I LUV U, Anna

  • mhmmm, okay, okay, hmmm hmmmmhmm, okay, okay. wonderful interview but please don't do this

  • Could anyone list the name of all songs played?

    I know:

    1. Bach, BWV 1006a Prelude Lute Suite

    2. Yesterday, The Beatles

    3. ??????

    4. Etude n7 Villa Lobos

    5. Recuerdos del Alhambra, Francisco Tarrega

    6. Vals Venezolano n2, "andreina", antonio lauro.

  • @tomasemilio found it never mind, 1006a bourree

  • @tomasemilio the first one is actually the Prelude Bach's Partita No. 3 in E Major for solo violin and the third one is from Bach's cello suites if you were still looking

  • I wish I had her technique

  • Hah, well I got my wish there at the end, a treatment of Antonio Lauro's Valse No. 4. (abridged).... Very nicely played!

  • I only wish she were asked more about her favorite composers, performers and her favorite pieces to play, and her favorite performances by others. I would love to hear her interpret wonderful music of Leo Brouwer, Antonio Lauro, Manuel Ponce.

  • What an excellent musician!! She belongs in the class with John Williams, David Russel, Pepe Romero, the best of them!

I hope she has a long and prolific career recording and performing!

  • What a pure class act. Never saw anyone do the tremolo the way she does. Her technique is impeccable.

  • she is so beautiful

  • something beautiful coming from something beautiful...im in awe..god why did you make me so ordinary..

  • shes on steroids..playing ehancing steroids..so gorgeous..most beautiful person in the world..i love her..

  • rain1ny is being clever! He's plugging the electric guitar maker.

Ana Vidovic plays a Jim Redgate lattice top, unless she's had a sudden change of heart. It's is a modern design based on the Greg Smallman original innovation. Externally, the headstock and rosette are the giveaway.

  • this guitar is a yamaha ?

  • @rain1ny The guitar is a tom anderson

  • @rain1ny Obviously a BC Rich. ;)

  • @toccata33 obviously you're a dick who has nothing better to do than post stupid comments :)

  • @rain1ny :)

  • @TheHeartwinds no is not a yamaha. Her guitar was done by a luthier.

  • The headstock on her guitar reminds me of something reminiscent from Transformers.

She is absolutely wonderful as well :)

  • the next andres segovia

  • i kiss you !!!!!

  • if Ana Vidovic lend me a lil bit of your talent !!!!

  • Does someone know the name of the song she plays at the beginning of the video??

  • @MegaPickle99 Prelude - E major Lute Suite - BVW 1006 - J.S.Bach

  • @ablasse Thanks!

  • @MegaPickle99 I see that someone responded already, but it's technically, BWV 1006a. I don't mean to be pretentious, but it may make a difference. The Bach catalog is ENORMOUS. There are 4 famous Bach lute suites frequently played on guitar, and 6 cello suites. Those, you may be able to find under "Suite 1, Suite 2," etc. These pieces are cross-referenced in so many ways, that it can be difficult to find what you're looking for.

  • @MultiChief1 Ok!! Thanks you!

  • Genius Genius Genius

    Natural Born Guitarist.

  • Wow I never knew she used index and middle only for the tremelo picking.. and figured it was absolutely frowned upon for doing so. How inspiring.

  • She makes it look so easy.......my right hand is not cooperating !!!

  • it seems she makes love with her guitar dont you think so

  • Yesterday yeaaah!!!

  • i wish she would have said, "i don't need luck" i would have lmao.

  • she is so beautiful.

  • I put it on mute and just watched her : D

  • PLEASE MARRY ME...

  • She does seem to be simple, it`s amazing... when she does come to brazil ?

  • wish i was the guitar ....lol

  • I didnt know there is tremolo with i - m - i ... thats all...btw ana is great player

  • A beautiful guitarrist!! Has an amazing technic.

  • I can't get enough of listening to her play!! She is by far my favourite guitarist of all times!

  • Tremolo with i - m - i ?

  • @1011viktor Hmmm...interesting observation Viktor. Bad technique???? I usually use p-a-m-i but hey, if it works for her. Just tried it and if feels uncomfortable for me to do it Ana's way.

    Mel

  • Hot!!!

  • is that a smallman ?

  • @scrollandkey its a redgate
